I bought this for myself. I opened the box and started to unravel everything when I found that the instructions that were in the box were for a couch, not this bed. I wrestled a bit with customer service to get the correct manual, but by the time u got the manual I had assembled the bed on my own. It was quite a pain. I then got it all assembled and setup, and then noticed that one of the wooden pieces on the headboard was apparently damaged, likely not due to myself because I hadn't touched that part of the headboard. I then plugged the bed in and only about 20% of the LED lights worked. At this point, it would have been more hassle to take the whole thing apart and return it. I contacted customer service, who told me that they didn't have the LED part in stock, so they couldn't provide me another one. They instead offered me a $10 discount. I felt pretty insulted by that low ball offer, so I'm writing this review instead of taking it.

Easy to put together, looks nice. Slats were too long and didn't fit, also arrived broken. The plug on the shelf broke off with a piece of the wood.

I bought a queen size mattress and there is an inch or two gap. The wood slacks can easily splinter your fingers. Instructions for the bed was for a couch. I had to google the instruction and luckily found a youtube video. The price is cheap because the quality is cheap.

It’s a beautiful sturdy bed the only problem I had was when I was putting it together the foot board was missing to screws and I don’t have an eclectic drill so I had to manually screw in the screws which was a major hassle. There was also a piece broken off the headboard but I don’t much care about that other wise it’s a beautiful bed frame.

Came with instructions for a couch instead of the bed frame. Was quite a challenge figuring out how to put it together with no instructions. Frame is too big, mattress doesn't sit flush and you can see the slats underneath on both sides. If you push the mattress up to the head board then you have 5" left at the end visible underneath. The light strip was unstuck in the shelf part and the plastic for the outlet had broken where it was screwed down so it wasn't attached anymore. The side panels are not the same thickness shown in the picture. The only piece that had the same wood thickness was the end of the bed. All of the slats are thinner than shown in pictures too. The slats also did not fit properly everywhere and were bowing up not allowing the legs to sit firmly on the floor. Half the holes for the screws only had threads half way down instead of all the way up inside like the others. It's a cheap frame but it does look alright when put together. Personally I wouldn't recommend this bed or buy it again.

This is a nice bed frame for the price. Seems sturdy enough. Bought for my daughter. Gave it 4 stars because a piece of the finish in the shelving was broken when we opened it. Looks like they missed with a finishing nail and it broke. Box is much too heavy to go through the return process and my daughter said she didn't mind it so we kept it.
