in the pictures it looks big but it is smaller and pretty low to ground, the mattress has to be at least 14 inches thick in order to look like it is pictured.

Bed seemed to be at first very difficult to put together but was actually pretty easy. Bed is quite small compared to the pictures . With just the mattress on the bed makes the mattress really low to the floor had to add a box spring to make it comfortable hight . Over all good product for the price

I’ve had a king bed for so many years, and my husband thought it would be great to go down to a queen size which is what we started with at the beginning of our marriage years ago, oh, I get very hot at night, and I like to have my space so I didn’t think it would work well I’m here to tell you if you two are on the fence about downsizing or about choosing this bed and I am one picky sister I am here to tell you, I absolutely love this bed , we are very tall and not very small LOL and it is awesome and we still have a foot of empty space in the middle.
