This is a nice stand at a reasonable price. I'm using it for my Rode NT1 condenser mic which is quite heavy especially when you add the mount and pop filter that comes with the mic. The pop filter that comes with the stand weighs less and appears to be of good quality but since I already had one that was made for this mic I'm using it. Once you tighten the knobs on the stand it stays in place even with this amount of weight. I also like the 6 inch extension that goes on the base of the stand. It really extends the reach.
