Fits the little skar 8s just fine. Will not fit a ddaudio 2508 however. Hole is to small and the magnet is to big without adding a spacer on the box. Over box is solid and very happy with the sound and bass output. No port noise and will get decently low. Fits perfectly under the supercrew f150 2019! ... show more

After blowing my 12" rt Kickers with passive radiators, I need to replace subwoofers and a sub-box. The kickers were in a sealed enclosure. This time I wanted a tuned ported box. I thought the price was great. I was expected it to be a little flimsy and may not last, but it will do until I got something better. I was completely wrong. This sub-box is extremely sturdy and, in my opinion, could easily handle the pressure of 600-800 watt speakers. I put two 500 watts, speakers, in it and it sounds AWESOME! ... show more

Received this item today only to ope the box and see the biggest piece of garbage I’ve ever seen. The rhino lining that they sprayed on the thing was flaking off of it. One of the side is separating. The spay was so built up on the hole that my speakers would not fit in the holes. Had to sand the spray on liner so I could put the speakers in. Install done!!! Now I just took these speakers out of a similar box that was carpeted. The only reason I got another box was because I had pioneer b flats that are a little larger than 12” so my new speakers were to small. This thing rattles like hell sounds like crap!!! At first I thought it may be my speakers so I put them in the box that was in my other vehicle. Sounded perfect. It’s this piece of junk box!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!! ... show more

So far that box is great the only thing I had a small problem with is the holes were a little bit too big for the subs that I'm using. I'm using skar sdr-8s. Feels like a match made in heaven. Boxes 8 cube ft per sub scars were recommended .6 to .7 great box for the 8s I'm very surprised at how well they sound. Shipping was fast. Install was relatively easy. Highly recommend. This box is very well built. The armor coating is very nice. As others stated, the armor around the outer diameter speaker hole will need to be removed for the subwoofer to fit. It puts off a nasty smoke when sanded. I just used a angle grinder and flap disk. If you do so as well, be sure to mask up, it's nasty stuff. I put DS 18s in and they bump. 1 cubic foot of air space per speaker. I have a weather tech floor mat and it keeps the speaker box up some and the seats don't lock in the down position. I purchased a JL Audio CP208LG-W3v3 and wasn’t happy with the lack of low frequencies it put out. I put the 2 JL 8W3’s (with a JD500/1 amp) under the seat of my 2022 F250 and it is a clean monster now. I previously had 2-JL 12w3’s in a JL Stealthbox in an F150. This is very comparable but not capable of the volume level of the 2-12’s. I’m very very happy with this box and setup. The JL Audio CP208LG-W3v3 was very punchy and wouldn’t play all genres at all in comparison to this box. Well worth getting rid of the storage under the seat to me. ... show more
