I received this jacket two weeks ago. I have not worn it because our weather warmed up briefly. I am not commenting on its ability to keep me warm. I does appear to be of good quality materials and it fits my frame well. I am only 5' 9" but I often have difficulty finding coats that are comfortable in length because of my broad chest. Zippers feel sturdy and not cheap while shell feel thick. I have no complaints. Update: still no complaints. Keeps me warm. I have room to wear a Columbia fleece underneath and often do. That is not a knock on its warmth, but it makes me nice and toasty on cold night walks with the dog. ... show more

Amazing ski jacket. My son wore it for a trip to New Hampshire, weather dipped down to the teens, with wind chill bringing it to the single digits, and he stayed warm and dry. Even with him having multiple snow fights and ski falls! Would highly recommend this winter coat.

This was purchased for my husband, he goes on snowboarding trips every year but his old coat was worn out. This is well made, warm, and very comfortable. This has a removable insulated hood and cuffs with velcro, 2 big zippered hand pockets, 1 waterproof zippered chest pocket, and1 zippered phone pocket on the inside left. I have had this coat for about 2 weeks, will update later. But as now I am very pleased. Going by the measurements, the coats would run small, but going by the size i normally wear, fit perfect. Jacket was well packed and looks great. Love the red/gray. It is very warm and comfortable. Zipper is not on the side I am used to, but no big deal. We have had temps in the teens this week and I have been warn and comfortable. Like I said, I will update this after I have had the coat for a longer time. It fits me mostly fine. I think for it to have been completely good I probably needed to get one size higher, however 3XL is the largest this coat goes up to. I also can’t tell if the upper part of the coat, around where the hood is, is supposed to close around my neck or around my face, because the way it is it’s trying to go around my face and it doesn’t work too well in my case. While I can zip up the coat fine I do feel it a bit tight around the chest, and zipping up the coat all the way to the top basically has it really right underneath my nose. I never really got a coat before so I wasn’t 100% sure if I got the measurements right. I think I was close, but it’s pretty difficult to tell from just looking at it online. Jacket fits great only 2 complaints are when skiing down hill the wind/cold goes right through the front zipper area and makes your chest a bit cold. needs a waterproof or wind proof zipper. The other thing is the wrists are a bit too tight with out the adjustable straps. They need to be larger. Besides it’s a fantastic jacket for the money and very warm it was in the low 20’s and I was sweating with just a hoodie in underneath. ... show more

The very first day I wore this jacket, the seam of the right pocket zipper, unraveled about an inch. The only thing I had in there, was a wallet, which wasn’t bulky at all. The zipper seems to be rather delicate, or poorly made, to be exact. I can’t believe that people are saying that they’ve actually used this while snowboarding or skiing; they must have received a much higher quality than the one I got. On the plus side, it protected very well during three consecutive weeks of below zero weather (as low as -29 below degrees Fahrenheit, with the windchill.). That’s the only reason I didn’t toss it in the trash. So, while the fabric itself does the job, the sewing is markedly poor and as a result, it isn’t durable. If the sewing was good, it would have been a 5 ⭐️ item, without a doubt. Save your money and get something like Eddie Bauer. ... show more
