Bought a used Pioneer radio online and it didn't have the cage anymore. Purchased this in hopes it would work and sure enough, everything went together in under 10 minutes. Screw the brackets to the radio, install the cage, and slide the radio in. To those saying it's cheaply made, that is all a headunit cage is.     • It doesn't fit my radio
This did not fit my radio which is 6 x 4 x 5 inches (L x W x H). The cage came to me kind of bent more towards one side and the square pieces that came with it don't seem to even fit the cage itself and something om one of them was broke off (Maybe this thing is meant for a certain type of radio). My radio was able to slide in it but barely. If your radios size matches mine skip this one. ... show more

Cheap, flimsy, and not worth the headache. Do yourself a favor and just steer clear of this "universal fit" and just get vehicle specific. This cheap flimsy metal box isn't going to hold a damn thing.
