product arrived with a bent rim, the trike wobbles and the pedal drive chain broke during initial ride by my 5’2” 115 lb wife in the 1st 50 yards. i am now waiting to see how Qlife customer service responds. (as I paid $312 for a service technician to assemble the trike, who also put all packaging in the garbage - i am in no position to disassemble and repackage the trike for return. At least Qlife customer service actually answers the phone - awaiting response . curious to see how they will handle the 2 part issue: cost of trike ($800+) & 3rd party assy charge ($300+) as og now im out $1200+ - a lot of my hard earned money!! also contact my cc company and amazon - whose customer service system sucks big time!

Love this Trike absolutely amazing, Carried 350lb all week with the greatest of ease. I built a wooden flip top padded bench seat for the back basket that functioned as a trunk lid and extra seat for my sister, festival approved !!! Great power, Battery lasted all weekend. Only charged it 2 times in 14 days that was only because I didn’t want to risk having the battery run low. Fun little ride. The only downside was that the rear fenders needed locking washers or nuts the ones provided bounced right off while riding on golf cart trails near the beach ☹️ butt easy to fix 😍 I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in alternative transportation options for festival, Burn, Beach, Camping events where pedal/electric bicycles are allowed.

This bike arrived with a bent frame and wheel. Contracted customer support and crickets. Decided to try to make the best of it, went on a ride and didn’t make it a mile before the chain broke. Contacted customer service again and nothing until I filed a complaint with Amazon. The company wanted me to buy a new chain. Not a good product.

*I will update this review after chain is fixed and after more test riding.* (July 12, 2026) The bike arrived in 11 days not the 3-8 as advertised on website. Got shipped a day or 2 late from California to PA. July 4th added 1 day delay (understandable) and FedEx held up package at a local hub for another day. Not Qlife fault really. Bike was packaged very well with protective material. No damage noted. Assembled fairly easily following manual and video from QR code link in booklet supplied. The rear fenders take some tweaking to get them to look even. I added 25 psi to the tires to get them to roll better. Tire rating is 5-30 psi. After about a 20 min test ride in a fairly level parking lot to check out the performance and to get used to riding a trike, things were going really well, until the drive chain from the Elect motor sprocket to the rear axle sprocket came off. The chain splice link came apart. I did not find two of the pieces. (Looking for Gray parts on gray payment with stones) I have an email into Qlife customer service to get replacement parts. Hopefully hear from them today or tomorrow. So that was very disappointing first test ride. I know sometimes there are unforeseen defects in parts from time to time. Everything else was working smoothly up to losing the chain. This review will continue later...... (Jul 17 2026) Ok after 4 days Qlife customer service responded to my email and asked for my address. I had included a copy of my Amazon receipt that had my address when I emailed them. So I give it to them again. They said the chain was out of stock...they sent me a link to a Zonkie (China) chain on amazon for $13 and to send them a copy of the receipt and they would reimburse me. (They could purchase the chain themselves and send it to my address) I had bought an Odyssey chain the next day when original chain broke from a local bike shop ($17) that is made in California and is twice as long as what I needed so I have spare chain. I bought a chain tool ($50) to press out the link pin for the correct length to match original chain. (see images) I Installed new chain on bike. Works great. THE CHAIN IS LIKE A DRIVESHAFT ON A VEHICLE...IT NEEDS TO BE RELIABLE. Odyssey chains are what BMX riders use so it is tough. My wife is the one testing the bike and is for my mother to use eventually. Just making sure all the issues are taken care of first. I do notice a fat tire is harder to steer then a thinner tire at slower speeds. Also, only one rear wheel is doing the driving with this axle differential set-up so it tends to pull the bike to the one side a little. Something that does not happen on a solid axle trike. I think those things can be gotten used to. The one rear tire has just a slight wobble. I read about bent rims in other comments. I may sometime have local bike shop see if adjusting the spokes can clear that up. So that may have occurred in shipping. Who knows. Their shipping statement says we are responsible for checking the box for damage before signing for the bike. My box had no damage. There is a shipping charge if you decide to ship it back so beware of that. The suspension spring on the seat post does raise the seat up 5" or so. I think I am going to replace the seat post with a solid post without the spring to get the seat a bit lower for shorter people. Fat tires add some cushion anyway. My mom is not doing jumps or going on rough trails. She just likes to ride the back streets of the small town she lives in. She has a non elec trike now so hopefully this battery one will make it a bit less effort for her. I gave this the rating of 2 stars for crappy chain link/chain install and noting the out of stock chain means it is most likely a common issue. Chain can be replaced with better chain but does require loosening the Drive motor connection and assembling chain link while on the sprockets. (Rear Basket removed from bike) So you need 18 mm wrench for this. People with some mechanical ability can do this. But for a fresh out of the box bike one should not have to do this on a $1000 bike. I hope if I need other parts from this company they are available. This is a website only company with no storefront address, The return address is to a Gensun Living company/warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga Ca. The bike seems solid overall with some minor quirks that can be remedied if you have mechanical abilities.
