I am very pleased with this bike at the pricepoint for what you get alone is outstanding! I do however have one major problem that the insurance I put on the bike with Asurion did fix by sending me a full refund for a new bike. The battery would not latch into the locking mechanism and could just come out without something holding the top down so I used electric tape to keep it down. The bottom of the battery connects but the top where the lock is doesn't. So the battery could easily get stolen. I ordered a new ebike and everything was pretty much fine after the easy assembly was done. I did have to adjust the gears to get them to shift right on both bikes my first one was more out of wack. But a quick adjustement to the derailleur and voila. Also I had to make a couple major adjustments to the front brakes on the new bike and the back brakes are giving me loads of trouble. They won't stop touching the rotar unless they are so loose they don't work at all. I'm going to have to contact them about getting a new brake assembley for the rear becuase I'm still hearing some noise from the pad touching the rotor and it's slowing the bike down a tiny little bit I can feel it when I push it. At first the bike was super noisy with constant squeeking that was unbearable after a few minutes so I had to make adjustments. They were pretty easy to do if you have any mechanical knowledge it's pretty straight forward and simple to figure out if you have never done it. My only concern is that people might not get the bolts and parts tight enough or close enough to torque specs and things can come loose if you don't give it a second or even third check over everything after 50 or 100 miles. A couple of parts that were already put together needed to be tightened. The handlebar stem that is adjustable for the angle to change wasn't fully tightened where it was already together. So I hope everyone has the sense to check ALL the things on the bike before riding. I did. Especially the rear wheel and brakes. Which was perfectly tightened maybe even to torque specs on both bikes. The brakes needed a tiny bit of tightneing where they mount to the frame on the one bike though too. Not a perfect job at the factory that's for sure. I hope everyone checks these things! I have a friend that ordered one through my account and he is super happy too! However one major potential problem is that his bike gets an error code sometimes and so far he hasn't had any issues with it though. We did purchase the insurance through Asurion with all three bikes of course so if it stops working they will probably replace it as long as I file the claim with all the details required and photos of error code and serial number on the bike. They were quick to get back to me and send me a full refund after hearing about my battery problem and it's actually the bike not the battery I have tried other batteries and it just won't latch or lock. Bad geometry or something out of place. Purchasing something as expensive (Even though it's marked way down compared to manufacturer website) you should always be prepared to purchase the insurance on as well. I got 2 years for $36. Given that this is a bike and not just a bike but an ebike you have many parts that could fail. So insurance is a must! In my opinion... Overall this bike is wonderfull! It goes 28MPH although I recommend you don't exceed that speed even down hills drifting. I just don't allow the bike to do it beucase it could potentially cause damage to the gears in the motor from the extra stess. The planetary gear system inside of the hub motors aren't all metal and the three gears are a plastic of some kind most likely. My first ebike had it that way. Same power motor different brand however that was my first ebike made by Senada (who doens't exist anymore) and died after almost 2500 miles. Due to the motor failing from the plastic gears breaking apart. I wouldn't expect to get much more than 2500 miles out of this bike or any other ebike in the sub $1500 range. You really might still get the same kind of motor builds in some of the high end bikes too I don't know though. And I might get more miles out of this bike then my first. Perhaps that was a fluke. I doubt that though. This bike is fantastic though. The little screen isn't color but is still quite nice. It also gives you the wattage output to the motor in real time!!! Just be carefull not to watch it on the screen only glance to keep all your attention on the road. You could easily have an accident if you stare at the screen at all of course. The 1200 watt peak power is for real too. It goes just a tad above 1100w which is impressive! I'm really happy they didn't lie and talk it up much more than the range and that is the next victim. Range is not what they claim! It almost NEVER is what is claimed by the seller. Some ebikes will give you a range of, for instance lets say 30-60 miles and if that's the case you better belive that the first lower number is closer to the true range in full electric mode with no pedaling. With LOTS of pedaling you MIGHT get closer to the high number but still not really. Unless you are a really strong legged person who rides bikes like crazy you just won't get that kind of range! If there is only one number there is a strong chance that it is not true at all not even close. More like half of the number is probably closer to reality in pure electric mode. Also bear in mind that the higher speed you travel the more juice the battery uses and the bike consumes. So lower speeds will take longer but increase your overall range by a lot if comparing the 1-5 speads you use 2 and 3 instead of 5 and that is where I kept it mostly when testing range. Mostly ran it on 3 when I learned the battery will probably get 15 to 20 miles in pure electric mode. This bike seems like it gets about 15-20 miles on pure electric mode. I havn't tested it until a dead battery yet but judging by how much power I loose and how many bars I loose at the mileage traveled and I can be pretty sure to get 15-20. But with pedaling my butt off I can probably get 30. Nowhere near the 65 they claim. No way! Maybe if you travel at 7MPH on speed setting number 1 and pedal the whole time too. Also when you are down to one bar it will prabably not have much pep or torque and maybe even decrease in speed. Just guessing here I don't know as I havn't killed a battery. And don't plan on fully depleting one either. As it might take it down below safe levels and cause harm. ALWAYS WAIT 30 MINUTES AFTER RIDING BEOFRE PLUGGING YOUR BATTERY IN!!! You can cause damage to it and not get the same lifespan from it (recharges and discharges will be a lower number) and hurt the battery. Usually a lithium battery gets 500 recharges. Or maybe a couple of years. Another good reason for the 2 year warrany! Especially if you plan of riding a lot! To maximize the lifespan of a lithium-ion battery, experts recommend the 80/20 rule: keep the charge between 20% and 80%, and limit 100% full charges to when you actually need the maximum runtime. For daily use, the ideal recharge amount is to keep the battery between 20% and 80% of its capacity. Recharging at 80% or before it drops below 20% minimizes internal stress and extends the overall lifespan of the battery. It might be a little tricky at first to figure out the time to stop charging to get to around 80% but just remember how long it takes to charge it to full after one or two bars are down and make note. Then you will get a better idea after a few times and know how long to charge, unless you need 100%. Also don't leave it plugged in over night. Fire hazard. Big strong battery and unatended charging is a huge no no. Also buying another charger for it is usualy a very bad idea. As they have these batteries set to charge at a specific rate and the BMS will compensate but still throwing way more amps at it is probably a no no. And using a charger of the same specs that is not from this brand could possibly do harm too believe it or not. You should generally avoid using a different charger for your e-bike battery unless the output voltage, amperage, and connector type match exactly. Using an incompatible charger can permanently damage your battery cells, trip the Battery Management System (BMS), or create a severe fire hazard. The battery is pretty good though for how small it is at 10.4Ah or 10.396 to be exact at 499WattHours. My first ebike had twice that size battery and got twice the range but was twice as expensive at $1200. This QLife ebike is awesome though in pretty much every way. I took the bell off as mine wasn't even working and got a horn that is a 5 in one rear tail light, turn signal, brake light, alarm, and horn. Amazon for $40 WSDCAM brand for that. Works great! Great upgrade for this bike as it doesn't have a rear light. Also I upgraded my headlights with high beams. Two flashlights mounted to the handlebars that have extreme lumens output on them from Goreit on Amazon for about $20. They claim 20,000 lumens! It's probably pretty close too believe it or not. Two of them on this bike is amazing lighting! Just one would increase your ability to ride at night by a lot. The built in headlight isn't bad it's just not super bright like I like it. It's fairly bright though for it's size and gives you a large enough range of light in front of you. The 7 gear Shimano shifters are pretty nice too! I love that the bike has something of a chain gaurd on it as well thankfully so my pants don't get caught in the sprocket. 7 gears was something I almost questined at first. my Senada was 21 spead. SO it's a slight downgrade but not really as they are geared out pretty nicely for the speed the bike goes. Very well done! The seat is comfertable and the shocks are great and soft. Very nicely done there too. Confortable bike to ride and loads of fun! Bottom line is this ebike is amazing and worth every penny. It's super low priced for what you are getting you would be crazy not to get one! Just make sure you purchase insurance on it too for 2 years, I don't see the one year it comes with doing you very good because the 2 year Asurion gives you so much more and much better coverage. The tires are balding very quickly. After just 175 miles they are worn way more than I've ever seen happen before. They are a very soft rubber. I hope this helps and gives you a better idea of what you will get with this ebike.

I bought the Qlife Cityone 2.0 to add variety to my fitness routine and it has exceeded every expectation. The pedal-assist levels give me full control. I can push myself for a real workout or dial up the assist when I just want to enjoy the ride. The frame is well-balanced, it handles turns confidently, and the brakes are responsive and reliable. What really won me over is how practical it is the design is clean, it's easy to store, and it doesn't look out of place whether I'm on a trail path or a city street. For the price, the quality is outstanding. The Cityone 2.0 proves you don't have to break the bank to get a capable, enjoyable e-bike.

Very well packed. Instructions were not very good - often confusing the terms screws and bolts and nuts. I was able to get everything together and fine tuned in about 45 minutes. Fit and finish was surprisingly as good as more expensive e bikes. Top speed at throttle with no pedaling was 24mph in cold weather. I am 240 lbs and tire pressure set at 50#. 25mph top speed for my wife who weighs less, but I can't say by how much. PAS set at #3 was good for 18mph assist at a comfortable pace with bike in top gear #7. #4 yields assist at about 22mph. PAS #5 requires pedaling in top gear at a faster pace than I can manage. Customer service answered the phone quickly to help with a question. I am very impressed so far and I intend to buy a second one.

After MUCH difficulty with another "Brand EBike" that didnt come close to achieving any of the specs listed. This one Does.. I am a daily Rider, 20plus miles daily. I Ride I don't ride on. It and I get a workout. Last eBike had ,put 4k miles on before passing it on. I look forward to same with this one.. 30 Miles on one Charge, 25MPH top speed (unless I can peddle faster). Heavy Built solid .. I like the bike quite a lot and recommend to any level rider .. Seller corrected a shipping damage issue as quickly as possible and were quite polite on doing so...
