This welding jacket not only looks good in the advertisement, but it looks even better in person. It is made of a very sturdy material and but it does not feel like you are weighed down by its weight though. It fit true to size and was total worth the money. I bought it for my son's welding class in high school, where they are welding 3 times a week. At the end of the school year, I felt good donating it to a new incoming student, because the jacket still looked good and held together nicely. ... show more

The fit and softness of the jacket is very nice. It isnt heavy and I think the overall value is great. It looks very good and I have worn it out in the open as a regular jacket...but away from others because of the SMELL. It's like wearing a barn. It is so strong that I am embarrassed to be close to people and I have to keep it sequestered in a closet away from other clothing for this reason. I just received this welding jacket today and I have to say how proud I am to be its new owner . It has exceed my expectations in quality , fit & comfort. I really like how perfect it fits which was my biggest concern buying it online since most jackets tend to run a little small . I bought an XL for extra measure and it turned out to be a really nice fit on me although I wear size large t shirts. The overall quality of the stitching really impressed me and the weight of the jacket itself doesn’t feel heavy either .I can’t wait to put it to the test out in the work field / weld shop to see how well it holds up on it’s longevity and durability but as an ironworker I think it’s going be put through some rough days . Looking forward to updating my review on that aspect but it looks great and feels good too . My only complaint is that it’s slightly uncomfortable on the inner fold of my arm . It is a good looking welding jacket. It is comfortable and I bought a xl for my son who is 6'4''. It fits well. Not too tight but just snug enough to still be movable and protect. It is made out of durable leather for the shoulder,chest,and arms. It will function well since with his other jacket he keeps getting burnt through openings. It is light weight to wear for hours and looks good. Love the black and blue look. Overall it is a good value. ... show more

This jacket works really well to keep sparks and hot metal off your shoulders when welding overhead and in tight places. I use it almost every day and have been very pleased with the quality, especially at a value price. It's very heavy and pretty hot in the summer, but there's no way to protect yourself while welding and not be hot. The size seems to be just right (I bought a large). I weld almost exclusively overhead and in tight spaces and this jacket allows me to get closer to the weld and see better. So far, I haven't burned a hole in the leather part of the jacket. ... show more
