The DEWALT DCHJ067B-XL 20V/12V MAX Black Heated Hoodie (Bare) are part of the DEWALT Heated Jacket line up. This black heated hoodie features a durable wind resistant polyester outer shell, 3 core heating zones (Left/Right chest, and mid-back), 2 total pockets (zippered pockets for added protection), and a built in hood and collar with adjustable drawstrings. This hoodie features an LED controller with 3 temperature settings (high, med, low with pre-heat function), and are capable of running both 20V Max and 12V Max batteries, which will both provide hours of core body warmth and continuous heat. The battery pockets expands to accept DEWALT XR 4.0 Ah battery packets. There is also a USB power source with 2 USB power ports for charging portable electronic devices. This USB power features a new extension that allows you to place it in front or back pockets. This hoodie features re-enforced stitching on the cuffs, a robust metal zipper, drawstring in hood, and an added wind guard that blocks the wind from coming through the zipper. I’m 5'9" and 160 lbs, and while the large is a little baggy, I actually prefer the looser fit. A medium might have been a better choice for a more snug feel, but I wear a vest over it to help retain heat, and it works great. I’ve used this sweatshirt in negative temperatures, and it makes such a difference—especially on windy days when the cold air cuts through everything. The 2Ah battery lasts a good while, and the USB port for charging your phone is a nice bonus. The sweatshirt has 3 heat settings, and the high setting will definitely keep you toasty! Overall, it’s been a solid purchase for staying warm and comfortable in even the harshest conditions.     • It's not perfect, but it gets the job done.

The hoodie fits very well. Without the battery it's very comfortable and durable. The cable for the battery can be routed to the front pocket near your chest or to the pocket on the back. I prefer the back because I do a lot of work with my hands, but if I have to drive a forklift I swap it over to the front. I work in a refrigerated food processing plant most of the day. Rather than wearing a big, bulky jacket I decided to go with this hoodie which provides extra warmth while still being light. The room is between 25-35F and it does well. When you turn on the hoodie it starts out in high heat, then after a few minutes it switches itself to low heat. At that point I usually crank it back up to high. My 3Ah slim Dewalt battery lasts about 2 days of moderate use. On a full battery I could keep it on high for an entire 10 hour shift which is pretty impressive. The next day it might die half way through the shift. I haven't tested with a 2Ah battery yet but I am optimistic about the results. Rated 4 stars because the battery is bulky and makes it a little bit uncomfortable. But if you have a lot of Dewalt stuff this goes well with the collection. Okay so im a 5’11 200lbs male and i typically buy my shirts and hoodies large this hoodie fits me perfectly fine as any other large hoodie i have its right to fitment. The sweater is on the thin side but i planned on using a jacket over this heated sweater to really adequately use the heated sweater and have the outer layered jacket as barrier from the cold wind. works perfectly as i thought kept me warm all day with the combo. (Long sleeve shirt, heated sweater, and coat/jacket over the sweater) i like that they use ONLY 20V batteries which is perfect since thats what you’ll see at job sites 99% of the time. The heated mechanism works well it gets quite hot i occasionally have to turn it off and get cooled off again before turning it on. There is two battery locations one in the lower left back which can be annoying if you drive a forklift or any machinery all day luckily they have a front low left pocket where you can have the battery as well. The battery life last me an 8 hours work day. Luckily i work for a contractor that has nothing but 20v dewalt tools that im able to have a battery at all times. You pay for what you get i would suggest this. ... show more

First off I ordered a size small... box said small but the jacket was a freakin large! I'm tiny as heck .. also the jacket is very uncomfortable. I could feel all the wires .. and it only heats up In one section.. and then to have to carry the battery on u.. soooo not cool.. I'm a dewalt freak so I had to give it a shot.. like I mentioned I'm tiny so I'm always cold .. I thought maybe I found my way of beating the cold... NOT!.. no matter what I'll still be a die hard fan of dewalt .. but this was just sad.. first thing I bought from them that I can say i hated .... DEWALT YOU CAN DO BETTER.. I'm a huge lover I even made a purse out of the multipurpose zip bags.. hahaha... well I'll keep my eyes open hoping to see a better invention =) ... show more
