For whatever reason, I have had much better luck with these hubs than any similar priced hubs I tried. They are port powered, so they're not going to power four high-current devices. For port-powered hubs they are much more reliable than most. I now have five in use in my studio.

This USB-C hub has been a great addition for me, especially since I’m still pretty new to computers. It was super easy to set up, wish the the cable length was a little longer, but it's basically just plug it in and it works right away. I didn’t have to download anything or mess with confusing settings. Very fast for an entry level USB Hub. I really like that it has both USB-C and USB-A ports, because I can plug in more devices without needing a bunch of different adapters. It feels fast, convenient, and makes my setup way easier to use. For the price, you get a lot, and it’s been really useful so far. It works as intended. I liked the switches to turn connected devices on only when needed. The blue LED indicator lights give visual confirmation of each port status. For desktop use, I find the top-mounted USB ports to be easier to manage rather than front/rear mounted ports of others.
