The package arrived in good condition so I am guessing my light left the factory with a couple of warps and dings. Since it is a series of C shapes and is chrome with the light on the outside edge I am sure most of my guests would not notice but I know they are there. On the plus side, the light is bright and even and white enough so that it doesn't have a warm or orange hue. The single cable is easily adjusted and allowed me to offset swag it as my ceiling box isn't in the right spot and I live in a concrete building. I used a stainless cable thimble and glued a crimp onto the cable to hold it in place and avoid a pinch point on the hook and it turned out beautifully. I would have preferred a dimmable light that had no dents but it is very difficult to find a single hanging point light of this scale. Smaller lights look too small in a dining room. Overall I am very happy with it and thankful I don't have to look any longer for a light. It is silent and starts up instantly. The light strips are very evenly lit and don't create a ton of shadows.
