We purchased two of these chandeliers and the ring attaching the chandelier to the chain broke on both of them. One came crashing down shortly after I left the area where it was hanging. I see that two others have written in that the same thing happened to them. A recall should have been done as soon as the first chandelier broke. I communicated with the seller and they obviously knew about the issue because they wanted to replace mine with the 'improved" version. It's unbelievable that Amazon hasn't done a recall. I've spoken with two managers so far and no help whatsoever. If you have one of these, please take it down before someone is hurt or worse. It's definitely a safety hazard. ... show more

On trend, gorgeous chandelier. One bar arrived broken in half. It is not noticeable upon installation. Important to unwrap every glass bar upon arrival.

First I’m going to say that this is a very heavy and pretty chandelier. I loved how it looked hanging over my bed, until…. We came back from vacation and saw the chandelier dangling by just the electrical wire!!!! The metal ring holding the chandelier to its chain snapped sometime over the week away. The security wire could not hold the weight and also snapped which put the weight on the ground wire. The ground wire snapped and the electrical wires arced, sending sparks flying until the breaker popped. The only reason the chandelier did not crash down completely was because my husband had twisted the electrical wires together very well. That join was all that was holding the 30+ pounds of crystal! It was sheer luck that the chandelier did not crash down while we were home and asleep. If it had, it would have landed on my dogs bed and surely killed her!!! There were no visible defects when this light was installed about a year ago. It looks like cast aluminum and it seemed solid and well made but the component definitely cannot hold the weight. I see there’s at least one other review that said the chain snapped and could mot hold the weight. This product should be recalled. If you have one like this installed, for safety reasons, please take it down ASAP. ... show more
