These are great for hanging up things that you want to be secure, but still want to be able to remove when needed. I hung my patio lights on my pergola with them. They'll withstand the wind, but the wires and lights can be easily removed to paint or stain the wood, and then put right back in place.

These snap hooks are high quality and easy to install. I used them to hang outdoor lights around our pergola. They are much better than an eye hook and zip tie. They can be unhooked easily.

    • A little light for my application - not the fault of the product
I used these to hang a large net over a chicken run. This was not what they were intended for, but they worked okay. It took a little while to understand the driver and as a result I broke several of the hooks before I knew how far I could go. If they made one size up, they would have been perfect for my application. As it is they worked, but I cannot say they will hold up. Perfect for securing light wiring that will need to be removed (Like Holiday lights). ... show more

I like the ease of using these, are made for smaller/thinner metal, cable or what every your using them for thicker cable do not fit well because of not enough room to fit behind the clasp or push spring -not sure what to call it- the spring does not close well. I used thin coated wire cable so was no problem. They are of lighter weight. Used them for my 3' X 37' privacy screen its holding the wire cable very well was able to get the wire good and tight for the screen. No problems so far and we have had many sever stormy days all this last month. If you use them without needing the spring clasp then should be no problem they hold up well.
