I know when you first get them you’re put off by the size and yet, it’s magnetic strength isnt going to hold 10lbs, BUT I promise you, if you have anything magnetic metals in your home, you will find a purpose. Great quality. Holds the wires drain and pump behind the washing machine, hanging my keys, hanging signs at school on our metal doors, holding plants and even a window glass art piece. I bought a pack of the 30 lb and a pack of 40 lb. They are fine, and incredibly strong (don't let the 30 anywhere near the 40, as it is nearly impossible to pry them apart!) The only downside is that the hooks scratch very easily.. but shouldn't be a problem if all you do it attach them to the wall (or whatever) and leave them. Also, I ordered white, but the larger ones are a kind of grey-white.. but the hooks are a mix of white and grey. So far, I am using mine to hold a set of potholders on the refrigerator and a metal tong on the inside of the blower above my stove. The magnets are very powerful! These hooks worked really well to hang items on the walls of a cruise cabin. They are a good value. They are small but have really strong magnets. Great for hanging bathing suits, wash clothes in the shower, and small bags. For towels and heavier items, you’ll want larger hooks and stronger magnets. I have a corner shelf that I use for storing/displaying my cast iron collection. The frame is metal and I had an idea to get these hooks and hang some of my colorful enamelware cookware collection from the frame, to brighten it up. The magnets are so strong, but they are more stable when attached to a horizontal surface because they tended to slide on a vertical surface if the item was too heavy. Fortunately the pots I was using them for hanging were not very heavy. I would have just put a couple dots of hot glue below them to prevent sliding, if I had to! I feel they are a great value and these were the perfect size for my needs. This was actually the 2nd set of these magnets that I have purchased. This set was black to blend in with the shelf frame. The first set was the pretty blue and I use those in my kitchen. Moving all that stuff to the shelves and these hooks has helped open up space in my kitchen cabinets! I didn't read the size of these when I bought them I was anticipating them to be the size of cup hooks or coat hooks. They are fairy small and it says that they hold up to 30lbs....so I stuck them to my refrigerator to hang my pot holders on they immediately started to slide down...they did stop sliding after an inch or 2 but I'm pretty sure they can't hold up to 30lbs ... show more
