These will work fine if you are going to put a little switch/router on them, but if you even get close to the weight that they say they are rated for, they will be leaning pretty far. I ended up needing to use a rope to lift up the unsupported end of the shelf when I was at about 1/2 to 3/4 of the rated weight. One of the shelves also came with the mounting portion of it bent up a bit. Not really sure how that could have possibly happened during shipping as the box and everything was in perfect shape, so it seems like it was almost certainly damaged before it was packaged). Bending the frame back straight was surprisingly easy, probably due to how weak the frame is and why it can't handle the expected weight. ... show more

Using these for a make-shift Media rack for Modem, Router and Home Audio Amps. Very sturdy product, nice finish. Slightly wider than 16" Stud spacing which makes it require sheetrock anchors on one side for installation but easy enough to get past. Would recommend.

Works awesome for my non rack mountable items. I even have a 850 UPS on one with no problem. The other one has three mini PC. Great product and I got mine for $20 so it was a deal. Not sure about the current $29 though.
