So full disclosure, I’m stepping up from an old set of titleist 981s from when I was in highschool in 2001, but I really loved my old irons. They had dynamic gold stiff shafts. These new irons are SO MUCH EASIER TO HIT!!! Incredibly forgiving compared to my 981s, and they launch the ball with little effort. Luckily for me my lie is standard so I don’t need any adjustments to that. I was able to begin hittingcth well right out of the box. Swing weight is pretty spot on here it should be throughout the set, with the wedges having a little more get to them, vs. the 5 iron having a lighter feel. I wasn’t overly excited about the head designs of PXG irons in general, but I’ll tell you what, these look really nice standing over the ball. Whatever the “XCOR” material is they’re using for these, it feels super buttery through the ball. There is a little offset, but not dramatic. I’m currently a 15 handicapper, and I feel like these are going to take some strokes off my game. I’ll have to update this when I have more data. Ref: 40 y/o male 5’11 230lbs. My 8 iron goes 155-60 on average with these co mm pared to 145-155 I was getting with my old titleists. ... show more

My husband is an avid golfer, so I decided to get him a new set of irons. Once we got these home, our initial impression was these were designed and constructed with clear expertise. The set offers so many features that really elevate the game performance significantly. We took these out yesterday for the day, and we both agreed that these are lightweight but deliver the speed you need while also giving great control. Below, i will outline the factors taken into consideration that led me to choose these over other similar ones on the market. *Design: Impeccable and expertly designed chrome irons- Reg or Stiff- Long irons-Precision weighting *Light-weight and ultra thin - these are comfortable for long games *Target player: Low to Mid Handicap players *Dimensions for your reference: 47 x 6.9 x 5.5 inches with a weight of 8.4 lbs *Shaft can be customized -Ladies Flex -Senior Flex -Regular Flex -Stiff Flex or X-Stiff Flex *Special features: clubhead has technology that elevates ball speed. All in all, this set of Irons is top quality- made with premium grade steel. These are definitely the best Irons he has used to date, I will attest to that quality. The grip is super comfortable and performance overall is better.
