The ladder is well built and long enough to climb on the pontoon boat from the water. The only draw back is the mounting screws. For a ladder with a 600lb capacity it should really come with bolts and washers to mount it instead of the screws. Go to the local hardware store and pick up better mounting hardware and you will notice the difference. ... show more

It's stainless steel, but so small. A big person really could not use it. The width is just so small. It may be great for compact spaces but IMO just not that useful.
