Update: I almost sent this speaker back because the sound was not very loud. However, my original review was based on connecting the speaker using BT. I have since connected using an HDMI cord. Everything I stated in my original review remains true, with a couple of major differences: 1) Powering off the TV now powers off the speaker (that's a big plus for me, because I was just leaving it on all the time so I didn't have to use 2 different remotes). 2) The sound quality is 10x better and louder. I knew when I set the speaker up originally that optical or HDMI would be the better option, but I was planning on placing the speakers on either side of my couch and would need BT for that. Since I decided to leave the 2 pieces on each side of my TV, I hooked up the HDMI and OMG the sound is soooo much better. I did also try hooking up the optical and the sound is even better than with HDMI, but I decided to use the HDMI for the convenience of not having to use 2 remotes. With the optical hook up, I cannot control the volume or power with my Fire remote, that's a big con for me. If you don't care about having to use more than one remote, I would definitely suggest using the optical hookup. But if controlling all your functions with one remote matters, then HDMI is the way to go. I did test connecting the speaker to my TV using BT vs. the Fire stick and I cannot control any functions with the TV remote, so HDMI is definitely the way to go to have one remote control both devices. Hope this review helps others. For the price you pay, I can't complain. This sound bar works great. Connects to my Fire Stick with no problem and was easy to set up. I pulled everything out of the box and had it set up within 5 minutes. Didn't even look at the instructions, they were not needed. If you know the basic concept of setting up electronics you can do this easily. I've split mine into the 2 separate speakers and put one on either side of my TV. I think it works best this way. I can control the volume with my Fire remote, but cannot power on or off, have to use the speaker remote for that, so that's a con. Only other con, is if you cast another device to your TV, you cannot raise the volume, you have to do it on your device and max volume is whatever max volume is on the device. September 21, 2023 - Review update - Customer Service I had another opportunity to interact with Puxinat customer service. I just want to reiterate how fantastic the response time and quick resolution to issues I received from these dedicated customer service reps provided to me. Compared to other customer service departments, my experience with Puxinat has demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction. September August 28, 2023 - Review Update – Customer Service I had an opportunity to interact with Puxinat customer service last week due to an issue with my soundbar. Some type of glitch developed with my soundbar that could not be resolved. Puxinat sent me a replacement soundbar and my issue has been resolved. My main reason for providing this update is to report on the exceptional customer service I received. My e-mail communications were responded to in a very timely manner and the replacement soundbar was shipped and arrived faster than I ever expected. Puxinat has demonstrated to me that they are committed to providing the type of customer service that every customer deserves . I don’t know how many of you have had to deal with a vendor customer service department recently, but none that I’ve dealt with comes close to the outstanding service I received from Puxinat. If you’re in the market for a reasonably priced soundbar, packed with features and a company that truly cares about customer satisfaction, I highly recommend considering this one. .I have tried several budget priced, off brand soundbars and this one is absolutely outstanding. Set up is very simple. If you have a newer smart TV it basically gets set up for you. The quality of the sound is hands down better than most budget priced soundbars. It has bass and treble adjustments, 10 different sound effects to choose from and the bass is very good considering it doesn't have a separate subwoofer. They provide every type of cable you would need to connect to your TV, including an HDM/ARC cable. When I connected with the HDMI/ARC cable it automatically paired with my DISH receiver remote to control the volume and mute functions. The soundbar doesn't turn off when you turn off the TV, but it does go into a standby mode after a short period of time. The other amazing feature of this Puxinat soundbar is the ability to set this up as a one-piece unit or separate the unit into two separate speakers (cable and bases included) for a better stereo affect. I'm retired and we live on a fixed income, so price and quality are major factors when making a purchase. Obviously, you can't determine the quality until you make the purchase and utilize the device. I read enough reviews of this soundbar that it interested me enough to give it a try. After making this purchase and listening to the quality of this unit I felt compelled to add to the positive reviews. I don't usually review products, but this one is so impressive I had to provide one, I'd give this product 10 stars if I could.     • Big upgrade from TV speakers, great flexibility, but the LED display is distracting
I bought the Puxinat 2-in-1 separable sound bar as a budget upgrade from my TV’s built-in speakers, and that’s exactly where it shines. Dialogue is clearer, overall volume is stronger, and movies/sports feel fuller without having to crank the TV. If you’re used to thin, tinny TV audio, this is a noticeable improvement right away. It’s also a surprisingly complete kit. The build feels solid for the price, and I genuinely appreciate how many connection options and cables are included (HDMI ARC, optical, AUX, etc.). Setup was straightforward, and I like the ability to change the configuration: either keep it as one bar or split it into two speaker towers for a wider stereo feel. That flexibility makes it easy to fit different rooms and TV setups and gives the user different sound experiences. Expectations matter: despite the marketing language around “surround,” this is not an impressive, high-end surround sound experience. You’re not getting that immersive “sound all around the room” home theater effect. What you are getting is an acceptable upgrade on clarity and volume for a low price, and it’s hard to argue with the value. The other thing I'll pick on is the LED display. I really, really wish there was a way to disable it. Having a bright indicator right next to the TV constantly showing “ARC” or the input can be distracting, especially in a darker room, and it can honestly feel brighter than parts of what’s on-screen. Overall, for under $100 (got mine for $50), this is a strong buy and a clear upgrade from TV speakers.     • Love the Sound! Easy to Set Up and Very Versatile
I’m really happy with this sound bar! The sound quality is excellent, and the bass is nice and deep without being overwhelming. It makes a big difference when I’m watching movies or listening to music. The volume can get pretty loud without losing quality, and I haven’t noticed much distortion even at higher levels. The setup was super easy too, I had it connected to my TV in just a few minutes. The Bluetooth feature works great too. I’ve connected it to my phone, TV, and even my keyboard, and it sounds awesome with everything. When I play on my keyboard with this sound bar it makes the sound richer and more professional sounding. I also love that you can separate the sound bar into two speakers or keep them together as one. I keep mine separate most of the time, but it’s nice to have different options. The remote control is simple to use and lets you adjust the bass, which I appreciate because not all sound bars give you that option. Overall, I think this is a great buy.     • Great little inexpensive soundbar
I have been looking for an inexpensive soundbar to use with my projector for a projection mapping display. I used a computer speaker this last season, but it didn’t give me enough volume for the room size. I really like the look and size of this model. It is a very sleek and modern design. Each of the two towers have a very solid base that requires no tools to use and they would stand a little over 16 inches high. The speakers are 2-1/2 inches wide. They can be used as a solid one piece or as two towers to provide a stereo sound. There are two easy to connect cables between the pieces included depending on use as one or two pieces. The maximum spacing between the two towers is about 5 feet. There is also a solid plastic molded bracket on the back for wall mounting, if desired. As others have mentioned, many cables included for different types of set-up. (HDMI ARC cable, Optical Cable, 2 RCA Aux to 3.5mm cable and dual 3.5mm cable). The instruction manual is well written and even provides a guide by TV model or Streaming stick on what audio setting to chose depending on your connection type. I’m not an audiophile so I don’t expect it to have the same sound quality as the high end expensive soundbars, but it sounds good to me. The soundbar remembers the last volume level, which is great given I will have it mounted about 12 feet air. The remote works up to about 30 feet distance and the speakers need to be manually turned on when the projector is turned on. Has all the cables you might need, FiberOptic, HDMI, RCA Mid and Treble sound decent Volume is sufficiently loud CONS: At maximum bass setting, the sound is still not significant; but may still beat most flat panel sound No off or dimmer setting for the LED status display Might need to manually program your tv remote If you are buying this system to improve your bass, consider getting a unit with a separate bass speaker. With all the accessory cables it came with, it is surprising there were no batteries for the remote. Overall the sound is not bad, but not great either considering it is advertised with built-in dual subwoofer. $60 feels like it is already way to much for this.     • Nice Affordable Audio Upgrade for a 32" TV with poor sound
This Soundbar has a unique design I have not seen before. It comes with the option to separate it and use it as 2 smaller speakers or connect them together and use them as a traditional soundbar. This could also be useful if your TV remote sensor would otherwise be covered by the soundbar if located in front of the TV. This is ideal for a smaller 32" TV because of the size and volume the speakers provide. The model I purchased did not come with an additional subwoofer. The sound is very clear and certainly better sound quality then you would get with a traditional 32" TV. The Volume is loud enough for a smaller to medium sized room but do not expect to feel the bass at loud volumes. It is plenty loud and clear for music and dialogue but will not give you a heavy bass movie theater feel. It is very easy to use the remote or buttons on the soundbar to change the audio input. It can use hdmi, traditional RCA Cables or optical cable...all of which are included with the soundbar. It also has Bluetooth which worked very well and was easy to set up. I'm looking forward to trying this out this summer and pairing it with an outdoor screen/projector and see how it does for an outdoor movie night. This Soundbar does come with different preset audio options as well and options to adjust the treble and bass...all easy adjustments that can be made with the remote control.
