  • Great Iron with One Small Flaw
Style: 1700 Watts
This iron has been an excellent purchase! It’s durable, heats up quickly, and works like a charm. Whether I’m tackling tough wrinkles or quickly pressing lighter fabrics, it gets the job done efficiently and with no fuss. One thing I really appreciate is that it doesn’t leak at all, which can be a common issue with other irons. The cord doesn’t retract, which would be a nice feature, but it’s not a dealbreaker. The iron itself is incredibly strong and feels built to last, so I know I’ll be using it for a long time. The only downside is the rust-like residue on the bottom plate. I’ve tried everything to remove it, but nothing seems to work. Thankfully, it doesn’t affect the iron’s performance, but it’s still a bit frustrating to see on such a great product. Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable, leak-proof, and fast-heating iron, this one is a fantastic choice. Despite the minor cosmetic issue, I’m very happy with how well it works! ... show more

  • Hate ironing but love this iron!
Style: 1800 Watts
So my old iron died and I decided to invest in a really good iron since I hate the task and thought a good iron would make it easier. My friends recommended a different high-end brand but I saw this iron and it came highly rated and was cheaper than the others. So after doing my research, I ordered this baby and I'm so glad I did! I love the LCD screen that tells you exactly what setting to use for the type of fabric. It takes the guess work out! There is literally a setting for every type of fabric: cotton, wool, nylon, polyester, silk. You really don't need the steam but it steams beautifully also. It has a setting where you can use it just for steaming. I love the soleplate. It glides over the fabric and smooths it out. The iron is heavy enough to "press" your garment but not so heavy that it feels like your lifting weights. LOL! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this iron. It is well worth the price! And for the quality, the price is quite reasonable! This is an easy 5 stars! ... show more

  • Irons well, steam function mediocre, ergonomics OK
Style: 1700 Watts
The iron irons my clothes just fine, temperature is good, soleplate is smooth. Good price. Hand ergonomics: a little interesting; first of all, it's quite large and heavy. I think I prefer a smaller iron for nooks and crannies as I'm usually ironing around a collar, around buttons, around pockets, and hardly ever large areas like a bedsheet or pillowcase. I also think the area where you press your hand down on the handle is too far back. I usually want to press down on the tip around buttons (precision!), but the steam burst/water spray buttons are right there. The handle is positioned in a way that if you were to press down, you press on the heel of the iron. I would prefer they move all the controls and handle further forward relative to the soleplate. Steam function: Probably the worst feature on this iron. Works fine, but the anti-drip feature is a bimetallic 'popper' that will turn off the water flow from the tank onto the soleplate (creating steam) if the temperature is too low. You will hear this thing click on and off. It will not create steam (at all!) if it is popped into the closed mode. The manual claims that this is how they prevent drips when used on a lower heat. However, I think it's a little overzealous as you need it on nearly maximum temperature mode to generate any steam at all, otherwise the temp is too low for the popper to open. I think I would prefer the iron without this popper, risking drips instead. Worst case, I can still spritz the clothing with a spray bottle and iron it the old fashioned way, and it still generates "steam" by ironing damp clothing on a lower temp setting. 1700 watts is good enough to stay hot even ironing over cold, wet clothing. I'm sad that steam iron technology has not come further in the last 15 years (I had an old iron that similarly dripped and whatnot and I reverted to using a spray bottle... and that was 15 years ago). Self clean feature is a little weird, water doesn't flow out as fast as they seem to advertise. It just dumps water onto the hot soleplate and generates a lot of steam, which I believe could be effective at cleaning? But not fully convinced. Lastly, they claim you can use tap water in it and not to use distilled water, but I am calling their bluff as an "amateur" chemist (took several chemistry courses throughout college... I know) - there is no way distilled water is more corrosive than tap water. If it ends up leaking/failing due to my usage of distilled water, I will update this review; in the meantime I will enjoy zero calcification. ... show more

  • Best Iron I have ever owned!
Style: 1700 Watts
This iron is a bit heavier than most irons I’ve owned in the past, but it makes up for that in superior quality. It has an instant steam feature that can get any tough wrinkle out. The weight I think also adds to the effectiveness of the iron. I can now iron things in half the time because I’m not constantly going over the same area two or three times. It has a lot of settings if you’re picky. I honestly have been lazy and just keep it on a middle setting that seems to work for everything. I’ve only owned it for 2 months but it feels durable enough to last for years. I wish I had brought this iron a long time ago instead of suffering through cheap irons that burn out every few weeks. ... show more
