This is a good quality product especially for the price paid. We considered the Miridor that COSTCO had, while it was similar in price, it was a bit smaller (9' X 14' vice 10'X14') and did not offer the two-color (gray & white) option or the two independent right & left louver controls like this "Purple Leaf" product. This one looks a bit more upscale. Seems to be a very sturdy product and suspect it will last a quite a few years. The louver control is smooth and easy to adjust, to get just the right amount of shade or sun. This product comes in 7 boxes; each identified 1 of 7, 2 of 7, etc. Delivery came over a 3-day period. I received 3 cartons one day, then 2 more the next and then the final 2 cartons the next day. They did not arrive in order; I received box #7 before box #1. Also, the assembly manual and all hardware needed for assembly were in box #3. So was not much I could do until box 3 came on the 3rd day! lol. All boxes were delivered undamaged and in good condition. While it was nice that "Purple Leaf" included basic assembly tools (large & small Allen wrenches, and small open-end wrench), I would have hated to depend on these to assemble this product. These would be fine for assembly of a bar stool or side table, but not this. I highly recommend a cordless drill (with clutch so you can set the amount of torque) and appropriately sized Allen drivers. Proper Phillips screwdriver and a socket set. Assembly was fairly easy if you PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the assembly manual. I made one rookie mistake and "assumed" that it did not matter which side each the shorter side rails needed to go (they fit either way). The front (long side) of the pergola has the "Purple Leaf" logo on it the rear does not. Otherwise, these "appear" to be the same (they are not). The front rail (with the logo) also has the mounting holes for the right and left louver control brackets (aka control loop); the rear does not. For this reason, you must make sure that the shorter right & left side rails go where the assembly manual directs. Ensure that the louver control link on the side rails matches up with the louver control mechanism. I assembled backwards (right rail on the left & vice versa) which caused me to have to unbolt both sides and swap (just love doing things twice!). Also had to remove and reverse the center rail (all louver brackets on side and center rails need to be oriented in the same direction). Small criticism - The ASSEMBLY MANUAL could have been a bit clearer and perhaps provide a link to a YouTube video on how to assemble. Also, all of this could have been avoided if "Purple Leaf" made both front and rear rails exactly the same (with the louver control mounting holes on both). This way it would not matter which side the side rails went. One other small criticism, Purple Leaf did not mention anywhere in the Assembly Manual what size masonry drill bit was needed for the included expansion mounting bolts. Regardless, these bolts in my opinion were too small and light duty for this application. I ended up going to my local Home Improvement center and purchased "Red Head" 3/8 in. x 1-7/8 in. Sleeve Anchors. These worked excellent and recommend them over the included anchors. Overall, I highly recommend this product. Included some photos of the completed product.

This has been the perfect cover for our hot tub. It protects from sun and rain while being easy to use and maintain. It was easy to assemble and we are happy with the aluminum frame, it is very sturdy without being too heavy.

Beautiful product. looks very high end. Colors are really nice. The white is a warm white and looks great. Feels extremely sturdy but is not to heavy that can't move the boxes, you will have no trouble getting to your desired location. Comes in 11 boxes (for the 11x21 size) and was pretty easy to put together. We had 3 posts that were dented but the seller is a dream to work with and very helpful. They replaced them right away. Had a crazy storm about a week after installing and no leaks. This has totally changed our back deck and feels so luxurious.

The media could not be loaded. Smooth installation had no problems instructions easy to follow. Like the fact the seller responds are quick if you have any questions right from begininng customer service was great. Loving the product so far looks nice and feels solid after installation The pergola comes with own anchors but I decided to used my own. Went with 3/8 anchors two per pole with lock nut and flat washers not big deal happy with outcome.
