Took 3-4 of us about 8 hours to put together but so worth it! Instructions are fairly clear. Very well-built. Looks awesome and appears to be very durable. We were missing a bag of one of the brackets, but we continued on. Messaged the company and they responded right away. We bought a 12x16 size and it's perfect for our space. This is by far the best gazebo. Very sturdy and solid. It definitely needs 2 or more people to put together but it is worth it. My husband and I did it in 3 days but it is not easy. The finished product is amazing. The seller was amazing. They kept reaching out to make sure we received everything and to offer support. By far the best customer service I have received from anything I have purchased from Amazon. Waiting for ceiling fan and light and will add pictures.

This was a great purchase. Material feels durable. It’s aluminum. I’ve had it up about 3 months so far. I built it by myself (M33) in about 5 hours. It did require help to get the roof started, but only for one piece. The roof was probably the hardest part. The way the pieces fit together was interesting and took some patience. I bolted it to the deck and it’s been through 3 really bad Maryland storms. 40+ MPH winds. Didn’t even touch it. I installed a lighted ceiling fan as well. The curtains are well designs and durable. I ripped mine on install and the manufacturer sent me a new one. Would definitely purchase again. Will upload pics soon..

Starting from the beginning, gazebo arrived in 3 separate deliveries, no way porch pirates would run off with these boxes. Watching some really good videos prior too helped immensely. Following the easy-to-follow instructions I inspected and sorted all my part, Purple Leaf does an amazing job of protecting the parts, there was a second layer of protection inside the box. Taking my time, I had the gazebo together in 2 days. I strongly recommend a second person to help with the roof, I had no help but by using a tall ladder and a good plan I was able to assemble it One of the videos I watched suggested installing washers under all the exposed roof bolts which I did, we’ve had torrential rain storms and absolutely zero leaks Gazebo is well made and looks quite nice, we setup a gas fireplace with some chairs under it, the Mrs says it’s quite cozy when we close the curtains. Spent a little extra but I am convinced it was well worth it. I’m looking forward to showing it off this summer. Thank you Purple Leaf

The installation manual is terrible. Steps 1 is pretty easy - Step 2 (last step assembling the bottom rails for the top roof) are incorrect - this step should be done AFTER assembling the top roof. Step 3 you just need to read over and over until you figure out what they are trying to tell you. The installation manual should show more side views of the roof install. When you first look at the roof clips you wonder how the heck do you put them on - after looking closer (cause the installation manual doesn't tell you this) you' will see there is a crimped piece to the clip that holds them in place. I'll finish up the install tomorrow. I did this with no help and it is possible - just take your time an be sure all holes line up with what is being attached. Would I buy again? Knowing what I know now yes I would. Seems pretty solid and looks good! PS - use YOUTUBE and watch others assembling Purple Leaf gazebos - they help!

This gazebo is the perfect size for my open aviary. I was able to put in the footings for it before it came by using the measurements from the website. It adds so much to my backyard and held up to the sever storms we had in Wisconsin last night. It came well packaged and very good instructions for assembly. I am in my 70s and was able to completely assemble this myself. I never had to drill any holes for adding the additional perches for the birds, used all preexisting holes. Fast delivery and came several days before expected. Purple leaf stand behind their products and this is the second one I have bought from them. I didn't add the shelves as squires used them for a step to get at bird feeders.

Get ready for 3 days of construction, but believe me it's worth the effort. It took 3 adults 18 total hours to complete the structure. You will need two tall ladders to complete the roof construction as it is much higher than expected, and there is plenty of head room for ceiling fans because of the height. Once the roof is done move on to the panels. Hint, the numbers for the panels are on the bottoms, and you will definitely need to know which ones are which to make things work, don't assume you know which panel goes in what position. The nuts that slide into the track are used to secure the bottom of the panels on the sliding door sides and are tricky to position because you can't see them. Big Hint: My Daughter in Law came up with the idea of using two small drill bits to hold the nuts in position when installing the panel so that they are properly aligned so that the screws can be installed. Again, pay attention to the pictures and don't assume anything. Now, when finished the structure is amazingly sturdy and beautiful, so all of your efforts will be worthwhile. I highly recommend this gazebo.
