We bought the 10x20 and this thing is pretty awesome! Fits our little patio perfectly and the but netting will be a godsend once the mosquitos start really biting in a few weeks. Assembly was a bit of a bear as you can imagine but my wife and I (mostly me) assembled the basic structure in an afternoon (maybe 3 hours) and then a friend of mine came over and helped me erect it and install the roof which took an additional 7-8 hours. The only note I have on assembly is to make sure you seal the rivets that go across the top of the roof ridge piece. Maybe we had an outdated instruction booklet or something but there was nothing in ours about doing this and it leaked pretty heavily right from the get-go. Now that they are sealed, it has been completely water tight but trust me when I say it is much easier to do before you put the whole thing together than it is to do it after. Highly recommend this product as long as you are willing to spend a full day at least but potentially up to a day and a half assembling it. The instructions are perfectly adequate and there are plenty of videos on youtube to watch that will help you through it if you haven't done your own assembly very often. If you are like me and are used to assembling things you have ordered online, the instruction booklet (and an extra set of hands or two) should be all you really need. Finally, the customer support. Purple Leaf was great! They followed up with me immediately after ordering to update on the shipping process and to confirm receipt. The only issue I had was with the corners of the gutters. A few of them got a little scratched up during the manufacturing process and Purple Leaf had touch up paint and a decent refund back to me within days of me sending them a few pictures of the damage. This is very important because I guarantee you that you will not be returning this thing once you order it so to know that the company stands behind their product and is right there to correct any issues is HUGE when purchasing something like this online.

We would never hesitate to purchase anything from Purple Leaf. Their customer care team is on it and responds very quickly to any contact. We needed a bit of touchup paint for a few very small scratches. We contacted Purple Leaf, and the paint was sent promptly. Then our dog decided to chew up one of the curtain tie backs, again this was easily fixed with their customer service team. Also, their products that we have seen are of great quality and very nice design. The Gazebo that we purchased was easily assembled and we are very, very happy with it. It seems to withstand the wind out here very well with no issues. It provides us with a beautifully designed cover that keeps the bugs out, provides us privacy or opens up to a beautiful day. Our only wish is that it was a bit taller to match up with our sliding glass doors. Of course, that’s not a problem with their design, just our personal thoughts on it. The Gazebo is built very sturdy and it looks like it will hold up for years to come. Again we give it five stars. Very happy with it. We are very pleased with Purple Leaf overall as a company and would be pleased to deal with them again.

Listen, I don't write many reviews, but after assembling this Purple Leaf hardtop gazebo, I felt compelled to warn the future generations: this thing is BUILT. I'm pretty sure it’s sturdier than my actual house. In a storm, I’ll be sheltering under the gazebo and texting my insurance about the rest of the property. I read the glowing reviews and thought, “Okay, calm down, people, it’s just a gazebo.” But no. They were all right. Every single overly enthusiastic person was telling the truth. Once it's properly built (and I mean properly—this isn’t IKEA, folks), it becomes a majestic backyard fortress. Word of advice: take your time. Don’t rush it. Don’t let your Uncle Dave wing it with "no instructions needed" energy. Watch the videos, get a friend (not the flaky one), and make it a bonding experience filled with mild frustration and snacks. Took us a day, some caffeine, and zero divorces. Success! Once it’s up, it’s glorious. The curtains and screen? Top notch. It’s like having a VIP lounge in your yard—bugs stay out, shade stays in, and the neighbors stay jealous. I installed a bug zapper in mine like the final defense in a medieval castle. If a bug makes it in, it gets the zorp. Bottom line: this gazebo is here to stay. I might leave it in my will. Would give it 6 stars if I could, one for each bolt I dropped and had to crawl under the deck to retrieve. Worth it.

Finished product looks amazing. Give yourself plenty of time, took 4 of us roughly 10 hours to completely assemble. I know the directions called for M5 bit, but it was M4. You absolutely need to buy an Allen wrench drill bit set, you can find them on Amazon for around $8. Could not imagine doing this with just a plain Allen wrench. We used two 6ft laters, had 2 drills going. It’s very helpful to have all of the parts laid out and organized. Take your time, and follow instructions. We came into a little hiccup when starting the roofing, but found a video that was helpful by coping and pasting the title of this product in google and going to videos. It was hard work, but it was also a ton of fun.
