The PURPLE LEAF 10' X 14' Permanent Hardtop Gazebo has completely transformed our backyard. The installation process was surprisingly straightforward, thanks to the clear and concise instructions. While it took my wife and I about 12 hours to complete, the end result was well worth the effort. The gazebo itself is incredibly sturdy and well-built. I have a lot to say about this. First off the customer service from Purple Leaf is SUPER!!! They were so helpful and responsive. We went from a 10x10 structure to this 13x15. It comes in 8 separate boxes. The lights in a separate box. You MUST be patient with your set up. There are lots of pieces and it will take time. I would say in total it was about 9 hours. The weather was not very warm when we started and we are fortunate to have the garage to use as set up with laying out the pieces according to the letters. Be careful to read the instructions carefully as some of the hardware is similar in size. We were pretty happy with the instructions. Good visuals. Had a couple spots that we needed to redo. restart. The roof part mainly. We live in Colorado and we have had a couple significant wind storms since setting this up and it did great! Maybe 60 plus MPH winds!!! WE were very lucky to have a couple friends help us as well. We made it a party! WE are happy with the quality and the size. The lights were more dim overall than we wanted so we did put are other lights (plug in) back on from the old gazebo and hooked them into Alexa for on and off. they are brighter. We added our fan from before as well. We added only part of the screens as they are bulky and we were disappointed that there was no strap or tie them up. Right now we have a bungee cord around them. We will not be using the curtains as it creates a complete black out which is not the effect we are looking for. We may just add our crank down shade that we had before. If we get lots of bugs we may appreciate the screens more but we in general don't have a great issue here once we set out citronella candles and such around the perimeter. I hope this is helpful to others We would recommend this shelter/gazebo to others. Great customer service and quality product which to us, means a lot these days. Good Luck!

So as with many, I spent weeks reading reviews and bouncing between several companies. I settled with this because of reviews and I liked the included gutters. So I’ll try and break it down and help others make a decision. Ordering- arrived in a few deliveries but they let you know that when you order. Came in a total of 7 boxes. Unboxing- everything was extremely well organized and they even sent hardware In a nice compartment box. Everything is very well labeled also. I only had one damaged piece out of several hundred parts. I emailed purple leaf and they responded in a few hours. And continued to follow up until I had finished the build. Assembly- I did the majority of this alone, my wife helped me stand it when we got to that part. I would highly recommend 2-3 people for just that part. At least for the 12x18. With her and I, it was much harder than it needed to be. She also helped me when we got to the center screws on the roof. It went together pretty easy and directions are 99% just pictures so be sure and pay attention to the direction of pieces in the pictures. Only real tip I think thats helpful is once you start the roof support, keep them loose until you finish the install of the roof panels for that section then snug them up. The book shows getting all the main roof panels in then going back and doing the screws. I would 100% not recommend that. I would get a panel in place and everywhere that wasn’t going to overlap I would put the screw in very loosely and then once everything was up I went back and tightened everything. I didn’t have any problems getting everything to fit doing it this way. There are ALOT of pieces so last thing would be just look through the whole book first to get an idea, and then after each section look ahead again, have everything laid out and organized will help tremendously. Overall extremely happy with the finished product. The screen and shades are nice, and for the price the quality of the overall gazebo is excellent.

First off let me say this gazebo is very nice. Every piece and part fit together perfectly. Even some spares of some screws and what not. Quality unit thru out. The during and after sale correspondence was fantastic, unheard of lately. The assembly was somewhat of a project, my wife and i are in our late 60’s and we got it done. If i had to build another one, i would certainly get a couple young guys to help. Directions were fine, all illustrations. We’ve had a couple of very windy days since we put it up and have no problems. One thing i would recommend it to assemnle it on a flat, level surface , otherwise it’ll be out of kilter and bolts wont go into holes. I am bery happy with the quality and would certainly recommend it to others. Great job Purlpeleaf 👍
