After roughly 20 hours of research on various gazebos and pergolas, I determined Purple Leaf was exactly what I would need. The overall value and quality you’re getting for this price is unmatched. In my opinion, this was extremely easy to assemble for such a rigid gazebo. Very lightweight and manageable. I was able to complete this by myself in about 11 hours. I had my wife give me a hand when placing the columns upright but once I had 3 of them up, I was good to go. Purple leaf’s customer service was incredible. I was greeted in my inbox by an ACTUAL PERSON before it even arrived at my door. Luckily I had no damaged pieces upon arrival, but I’m confident they would have corrected any issues in a very timely manner based off their respond time. I suggest having a cordless drill and a table to layout all your screws and smaller pieces. Spent about an hour organizing all the larger pieces and giving myself some room to work. I completed this 6 weeks ago, since then I’ve had two storms with winds gusting above 60mph, 0 issues! We are extremely pleased with this unit. Thank you Purple Leaf for all the great support!

The gazebo looks great! Structure is in place. High quality materials with some extra parts which is nice! This is the 12x14 model. There was one bracket for a roof panel that was slightly bent but we were able to use pliers and get it on. One of the metal finishing bars that finish on the inside started to bend when putting it up because we tightened everything too soon and it was getting late so we decided to stop for now. The customer service is spot on, they were able to provide FedEx with delivery instructions and have been in contact and ready to help as we build it or be of any assistance. I was skeptical of the reviews but most of the lower stars were because of the instructions. Keep in mind this isn’t a quick/easy job but if you stay organized and read step by step it’ll get done. We did it over 2 days (4 hours + 6 hours) and used 2 people day 1 and 3 people day 2 with a ladder and a step stool and tall people. This is the same price as their website but I used Amazon for my rewards points. Very happy with it so far, it’s already keeping underneath dry and will provide great shade for my deck. I’ll update my review if anything changes.

This was a great purchase. Material feels durable. It’s aluminum. I’ve had it up about 3 months so far. I built it by myself (M33) in about 5 hours. It did require help to get the roof started, but only for one piece. The roof was probably the hardest part. The way the pieces fit together was interesting and took some patience. I bolted it to the deck and it’s been through 3 really bad Maryland storms. 40+ MPH winds. Didn’t even touch it. I installed a lighted ceiling fan as well. The curtains are well designs and durable. I ripped mine on install and the manufacturer sent me a new one. Would definitely purchase again. Will upload pics soon..

Starting from the beginning, gazebo arrived in 3 separate deliveries, no way porch pirates would run off with these boxes. Watching some really good videos prior too helped immensely. Following the easy-to-follow instructions I inspected and sorted all my part, Purple Leaf does an amazing job of protecting the parts, there was a second layer of protection inside the box. Taking my time, I had the gazebo together in 2 days. I strongly recommend a second person to help with the roof, I had no help but by using a tall ladder and a good plan I was able to assemble it One of the videos I watched suggested installing washers under all the exposed roof bolts which I did, we’ve had torrential rain storms and absolutely zero leaks Gazebo is well made and looks quite nice, we setup a gas fireplace with some chairs under it, the Mrs says it’s quite cozy when we close the curtains. Spent a little extra but I am convinced it was well worth it. I’m looking forward to showing it off this summer. Thank you Purple Leaf

Kinda flimsy-looks like there are 2 styles of this product. One of which has a gutter system and one does not. This should be easily seen which one you are purchasing and it is not. But more than anything the instructions for assembly is the most rudimentary form. So the instructions are only drawings and letters and numbers …..no wording at all. I hope they spend more time improving the installation manual. I suggest that you do a bit of research on YouTube and that will help. As far as being flimsy… I suggest the corner post brackets are corrected by making them wider and a bit longer. I will commend their follow up call to me. For that, I have improved my rating. I will say I am pleased and have had many people comment on how pretty it is.

Took 3-4 of us about 8 hours to put together but so worth it! Instructions are fairly clear. Very well-built. Looks awesome and appears to be very durable. We were missing a bag of one of the brackets, but we continued on. Messaged the company and they responded right away. We bought a 12x16 size and it's perfect for our space. Now we'll be looking to add a solar fan/light and someday an outdoor kitchen to go under it. Can't wait for the next party!!

This thing is solid...despite having issues with assembly. I cannot imagine how creative one would need to be to do this all on their own! OMG! I had my wife, my brother, my father in-law...not all at once per se, but off and on. I have holes visible behind some of the roofing support bars, but they don't seem to leak, so my wife thinks that they should be like that. I, also, struggled to get the outside pieces that help hold the roofing parts together to align...a couple of them are barely up there. Instructions were a pain, but I mean...it's together and it seems to work. We'll see how it handles or holds up to nasty storm winds once hurricane season is upon us here in the souf. -=80)
