  • Stunning Gazebo – Built to Last and Looks Amazing!
We couldn’t be happier with our PURPLE LEAF Hardtop Gazebo! The 10x12 size is perfect for our backyard, and the quality is outstanding. The roof not only looks elegant but also provides solid protection from sun and rain while also allowing air flow. It’s been through a few storms already and held up beautifully. The included netting and beige curtains are a great touch—functional and stylish. They add privacy and keep bugs out without making it feel closed in. The whole structure feels incredibly sturdy, and the installation instructions were clear. It took time and patience to assemble, but the final result was well worth it. This gazebo has truly transformed our outdoor space into a relaxing retreat. Whether we're entertaining guests or enjoying a quiet morning coffee, it's become our favorite spot. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their backyard or patio with something that’s both durable and beautiful! ... show more

  • GREAT!!
I have a lot to say about this. First off the customer service from Purple Leaf is SUPER!!! They were so helpful and responsive. We went from a 10x10 structure to this 13x15. It comes in 8 separate boxes. The lights in a separate box. You MUST be patient with your set up. There are lots of pieces and it will take time. I would say in total it was about 9 hours. The weather was not very warm when we started and we are fortunate to have the garage to use as set up with laying out the pieces according to the letters. Be careful to read the instructions carefully as some of the hardware is similar in size. We were pretty happy with the instructions. Good visuals. Had a couple spots that we needed to redo. restart. The roof part mainly. We live in Colorado and we have had a couple significant wind storms since setting this up and it did great! Maybe 60 plus MPH winds!!! WE were very lucky to have a couple friends help us as well. We made it a party! WE are happy with the quality and the size. The lights were more dim overall than we wanted so we did put are other lights (plug in) back on from the old gazebo and hooked them into Alexa for on and off. they are brighter. We added our fan from before as well. We added only part of the screens as they are bulky and we were disappointed that there was no strap or tie them up. Right now we have a bungee cord around them. We will not be using the curtains as it creates a complete black out which is not the effect we are looking for. We may just add our crank down shade that we had before. If we get lots of bugs we may appreciate the screens more but we in general don't have a great issue here once we set out citronella candles and such around the perimeter. I hope this is helpful to others We would recommend this shelter/gazebo to others. Great customer service and quality product which to us, means a lot these days. Good Luck! ... show more

  • Backyard oasis
Size: 12' x 18' Color: Gray
Love our gazebo. Luckily my husband and dad are handy and could put it together. A lot of boxes and took them 2/3 days after work to finish putting it together. Everything came very organized just lots of parts and pieces depending on what size you get. This summer is going to be great under our gazebo. Can hang a fan and flowers and lights inside. Good value for your money. Love the grey color too. ... show more

  • The best gazebo around
Size: 10' x 13' Color: Gray
It does takes two people to put together. It seems strong and looks great. Size was exact and instructions were very easy to follow. But I do recommend you tighten the roof panels as you go.

  • Great gazebo, but realize there are some things to consider.
Size: 13' x 17' Color: Gray
Overall, I think this is a great structure. Yes, there were some minor issues with the build, and the direction should have been ordered better and clearer in explanation, however, that's a one-time thing, not on-going. The screening seems super durable compared to other ones we've had (in one picture you can see our old gazebo that we replaced), but time will tell. Assembly: The parts were easy to work with, for the most part. One of the pieces (part "E") had a burr on each one that got in the way when assembling, but a pair of pliers helped flatten it and it didn't delay the assembly. We had another issue while assembling, as it wasn't really clear what the difference between parts M & M1 was, until we went to add the panels, and we found that one had an extra hole that is needed on the short sides. Our fault for not looking at the pictures carefully enough (there are no actual written instructions, which if they were there may have pointed it out). A slight delay while we carefully removed and swapped the part. Another issue is all of the screws that go into it. It makes it very solid, but when adding the panels, they seem to take for-ev-er to put together. The only really difficult part was adding on part "R" which covers the endcaps at the corners (I think there are 8 of them). If you don't have the parts aligned perfectly, it can be difficult to add them on. MAJOR SUGGESTION: The kit comes with a hex-key to tighten the bolts. Hand tightening would have been a pain and made the kit exceedingly long in time to build. We used an electric screwdriver and an appropriately sized hex bit to tighten the screws. Just keep the diver on ratchet and at about a tightness of 3, so it tightens, but doesn't over-tighten. WARNING: When assembling the panels, DO NOT work during periods of high sunlight and warmer temperatures. The panels will get exceedingly warm to hot if they are not in the shade. You may notice that we did not hang the curtains. We never closed them on our old gazebo, so we saw no need to hang them on this one. We also had wasps that loved to build nests in the folds of the old curtains, and this way we also eliminate that problem. For us, we hung the screens just off from the corners. If you notice, our stairs are at the corner, so this way we can more easily enter the gazebo, as opposed to having the opening in the middle, which would put it somewhere in the railing area. Unfortunately the velcro loops to hold the screen to the posts are not aligned properly, so 2 are threaded through the railing, and the other 2 just hang uselessly. This was our choice, not a failing of the product, hence no loss of stars for this. COMFORT: Now here is where I dropped it a star. The inside of the gazebo (in Atlanta on a warm day) gets very stifling. Unbearably so. Unless there is a breeze, it is unusable. There is an opening between the 2 levels of the roofing, but the warm air doesn't really flow out well at all. There are 2 hooks and a "U" hanger at the top of the gazebo for lights or a fan, etc. I put my thinking cap on and decided to alleviate the issue with a greenhouse exhaust fan for $40 here on Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DGGCP1J5, along with some black ducting for $15, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WD3T53P. I screwed the fan to a piece of wood, added an I-bolt to the wood, and hung the fan upside down, with the ducting pushed out through the area between the roofing levels. I also bought a light to hang for use at night, for $57, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096DSV1LL (ours was missing the included light bulb). Both the fan and light are plugged into a smart plug, $20 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BMWLH7X1, and can be controlled by Siri (HomeKit), Alexa, or Google controllers. This way we can turn them on/off without having to climb a ladder each time. Unfortunately the gazebo design doesn't allow for a power cord to be run and easily hidden. Fortunately for us, one side faces a fence, so a 50' outdoor extension cord runs out the area between the roof levels, down that side towards a corner. We then tie-wrapped it to the backside of one of the posts and off to the outlet. The smart plug /extension cord connection is under the upper roofing (along with the plugs for the light and fan) so they all stay out of the rain, and we unplug the extension cord when it is not in use. Again, a great gazebo, once you workaround the flaws that come with any hardtop gazebo. ... show more
