Why did you pick this product vs others?: Quality!! I’ve been in the market for awhile and I found the perfect product that is not only affordable but is also high end material. Super happy with this purchase. I would love to make a video review once I find some spare time to show you all how wonderful this product truly is.. but me and my buddy put this together in about 6hours after I unboxed and laid everything out. Absolutely love my new pergola! I ordered an 11x15 for my patio and it is the perfect piece. Setup took roughly 4 hours mainly by myself. I had one broken louver attachment that I noticed once it was almost fully assembled. I reached out to customer support and they shipped me two brand new ones and followed up to make sure I received everytging and got in installed. Highly recommend this company amd their products!

The assembly on this pergola was very easy. They had everything packaged really nicely. One of the columns had a dent in the edge, but we did not notice it till after it was up. I attached some photos.

Ordered the 12x16 model. Great price and pergola is heavy aluminum. The directions were straight forward which made the assembly easy. The structure is very solid. Very happy with it.

Overall, it's a well made product, but there are some negatives: 1) The parts which hold the louvers are made of plastic, so I'm sure they won't hold up over time, but they did provide a couple of replacement parts, so hopefully that will help. 2) There are no installation videos available, even on YouTube; they really should provide them. 3) Steps 3 and 5 where transmission rods are to be connected was difficult to execute and provided pictures are way too small to see what's going on. 4) Step 4 where bolts "N" are to be inserted was very difficult to execute because you cannot see or reach the nut and washer. You must temporarily install the bolts, then raise the structure to complete the tightening process. 5) Every single one of the louvers (and other parts as well) are covered in a layer of plastic which must be removed. The film must be pulled off in a perpendicular manner, or it is impossible to remove. In any case, you will spend an hour removing all the plastic film. 6) Expansion bolts are provided to anchor the pergola to cement, but no guidance is provided on their installation and they don't tell you what size bit is required to make the hole; it's a 9/16 bit which is rather uncommon. It's a good pergola, but the Mirador pergola is ALL metal and much easier to install.
