Pretty easy for one person to assemble, I only needed a hand with the canvas installation. Overall nice quality, only complain is that the K item is not listed on the manual but it's easy to figure they are to cover the holes, one cap was missing. So had to create one from white plastic, also these covers come off easily so I used pliers to squeeze the little tabs a little to create a snap fit. We utilized this pergola for a indoor event. The structure was really easy to build, we had it set up at the venue in rougly 15 mins. We also attached some wood bases on the legs to add a little extra stability because it was only being set up temporarily. Also just have to give a shout out to the seller, part of the package had some missing parts, and they quickly got me what I needed seamlessly. We began putting this together on a day we had set aside to get this done. We were close to the finish when we realized we were missing a bag of part O pieces. Now we can not complete the project until we get these pieces. Very aggravating to people that work and have limited time. The product appears to be nice, it takes time to put together, many screws! I have reached out to the seller and will see how soon I get the missing parts. right now I am not happy!update, I now have received the parts so now I have to find the time to finish putting the Pergola together will update once it is done ... show more

I love this pergola. I bought it to keep our home office cooler in the summer. The office wall faces south and gets constant sun. The pergola shades most of the wall at the sunniest times. Big improvement on temp. The pergola looks great as well. I would spend more time under it, but we have a ton of mosquitos right now (in SoCal of all places). It took about 4 hours to build it. I assembled the long pieces myself and the husband helped get the legs upright. The build quality is pretty good. The predrilled holes aligned most of the time. Sometimes I needed to loosen the bolts to get in the last bolt. I was able to get every screw in with no additional tools. Really happy with how sturdy it is. Looks beautiful. ... show more

Nice pergola once we could assemble it and begin enjoying it. Unfortunately, we received incorrect parts. I contacted the manufacturer via email and they were quick to respond, apologized and pleasant to work with. I was told that the replacement parts were on back order and would take 2-3 weeks. Three weeks later I received the replacement part from China. The customer service was great to work with and the product is very nice. We are happy with our purchase but would’ve paid extra to support American made products. ... show more

Definitely need at least two people to assemble. Took myself and my 66 year old mother (lol) about 4.5 hours start to finish. The directions aren’t super specific so we made some mistakes and had to disassemble and reassemble to get it right, which slowed us down. Once we got the main structure together the rest fell into place and was relatively straightforward. Came with extra hardware and screw covers which is great for being able to replace if anything gets lost. It looks beautiful, and is exactly what I was looking for. Overall would definitely recommend, but would recommend having one or two friends to help with the assembly. Also wouldn’t recommend fastening the footing down until you’ve got the basic square structure together, it’ll be easier to get it all square ... show more
