I have been doing my own laundry since I was 13 years old, and that was almost half a century ago. I have used top loaders, front loaders, and some with no agitators -- you name it. I have used just about every detergent out there. I presently have a Maytag front loader. I was advised to use liquid or pods. I tried several liquids, but as an old powder user, I didn't like the mess and the residue in the dispenser and on my clothes. I tried several pods, but I often found the pod melted and adhered to the clothes that came out of the dryer because it didn't dissolve (I would only use one pod). I wanted to give one more pod a try. I used to use Purex powder, which was always a good value and great product. These Purex pods always dissolve. I have been using them for two weeks, and I have yet to find one melted in my clothes. I only need one per wash; they have no suds, which might fool you. The best part is they clean better than any other detergent I have used. I often get landscaping stains (for lack of a better term) on my white T-shirts because I like to do yard work on the weekends. No other detergent, not even the leading brand, could get the stains completely out of the shirts, so I had a pile of clean but stained shirts just for the yardwork. As an experiment, I wore a new shirt today. I washed it with the rest of the whites and one pod (I find one pod works fine). The stains were completely gone. I couldn't even tell which shirt was the one I wore to do the yard work, and this included dirt and grease from my garden hose, grass stains, dirty water from flower pots, etc. All the shirts were white and clean. I also never use bleach. Even the leading brand couldn't get them this clean. There is hardly a scent at all with these, which is fine with me, since I am not one for perfumy detergents. I am glad I tried these. They are the best.

I don’t like powder detergent. We’ve been having problems with our rotten cats knocking the liquid detergent off the counter and spilling it all over the floor. Jerks. Anyway, these laundry pods are a terrific solution. A single pod cleans a full load of laundry well. The pods dissolve great and we haven’t had any issues with partially dissolved pods. Plus my kids like them because they’re easy to use and they don’t have to measure the detergent (I like this feature too - they were using way too much before). We have sensitive skin and for us, Purex detergents don’t irritate our skin. The price is right too, with six people in our household we wash a lot of laundry and these are more affordable than other brands’ pods. Would recommend.

This is probably the best detergent pod in its price range. Obviously, there are many other better detergent pods out there, but it's not exactly fair comparing a $0.12 laundry pod to a $0.30 pod. I tried some other inexpensive detergents, and there were times when I felt like I might as well not be using detergent after smelling things that came out of the washer. Anything I wash with these Purex pods at least comes out looking and smelling clean. The formula is very basic, just portioned plain detergent. It's basically regular liquid detergent portioned out in pods for the sake of convenience. Not the fancy pods with a combination of different liquids that focus on different things. I wouldn't be surprised if this was literally just regular Purex detergent in tiny packages that dissolve. For my intents and purposes, this product works. I use a communal washer, so I strongly prefer pods over carrying a huge bottle to the washer. I was looking for an inexpensive detergent pod to wash things that don't have to be sparkly clean, such as my bath rugs, shower curtain, rag towels, etc. I just need these things to be reasonably clean, not 100% clean due to the nature of the examples I listed. And if those are my standards, then I don't want to spend over twice as much on the best pods on the market. I wouldn't use this as my primary detergent, though. For my clothes, I like to use something with more natural ingredients to limit my exposure to possibly harmful chemicals. But this works great for my non-clothing items that don't make direct contact with my skin for extended periods of time.

I've been using Purex 4-in-1 Laundry Detergent Pacs for about a year now and I've been really happy with them. They're convenient, effective, and they smell great. One of the things I like most about Purex 4-in-1 Laundry Detergent Pacs is that they're so easy to use. I don't have to measure anything out, I just toss a pac into the washer and go. That's a huge time saver, especially on busy mornings. Another thing I like about Purex 4-in-1 Laundry Detergent Pacs is that they're really effective at getting my clothes clean. I've used them on everything from lightly soiled clothes to heavily stained clothes, and they've always done a great job. Even my whites are coming out looking bright and new. Finally, I love the scent of Purex 4-in-1 Laundry Detergent Pacs. It's a light, fresh scent that I really enjoy. My clothes smell great coming out of the dryer, and the scent lasts for a few days. Overall, I'm really happy with Purex 4-in-1 Laundry Detergent Pacs. They're convenient, effective, and they smell great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new laundry detergent.

"Environmentally allergic" so I have to be careful with pretty much everything that's making contact with me x.x When I can't get All Free & Clear (or it's too damn expensive) I grab Purex. So far all the lines I've grabbed (their version for Free & Clear, the mountain breeze, and that one limited release linen one from years ago that I miss horribly) have done well by me. Clothes are clean and I'm not OD'ing on benedryl while clawing at hives

I wanted to get away from the bulky, heavy, expensive liquid laundry detergent and thought it would be a good idea to use the dissolvable laundry sheets (takes just a fraction of space, convenient, easy to use), but in the last couple of months using the laundry sheets, the results of the laundry was very dingy, didn't really look clean and decided to try these Purex Laundry 4in1 Pacs -- what a huge difference! Fresh smelling laundry, brighter colors, whiter whites, doesn't take much space and very easy to use. I've been doing laundry for more than 40 years and I highly recommend this particular laundry soap -- never thought I would do a review for laundry soap!!
