This looks like a good pillow but they did not have sufficient fill to support my head. With little pressure from my hand on the pillow, my hand went all the way to the mattress. The pillow is far too compressible.

I purchased these goose down pillows as a birthday gift for my husband after reading many positive reviews. I was very excited because I grew up using down pillows and comforters and always loved them. Unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing. The pillows arrived two days ago and we started using them the same night. Within a few hours we noticed a very strong and unpleasant odor coming from the pillows. The smell was similar to a wet animal or urine-like smell and it became stronger during the night. At first I thought the pillowcases might be the issue, so I washed them and replaced them with freshly cleaned ones. However, the smell actually seemed worse the second night and it kept waking both of us up throughout the night. We barely slept. I understand that natural down can sometimes have a mild scent, but this odor was extremely strong and not something I have ever experienced with down bedding before. Because of this, we unfortunately cannot use the pillows. Based on our experience, I would recommend the manufacturer look into the cleaning and processing of the down used in these pillows. ... show more
