Just received this little beauty and we're so pleased! My old box insert died, so needed something that would fit the dimensions of the mantle. There isn't many small units on the market. This realistic electric insert fit perfectly and looks awesome. We use for cozy effect and ambiance, but this unit does provide heat. Price was reasonable. Packaging was excellent and received sooner than expected. Instillation was easy and quick. Unit makes no sound and works great so far. Want to add a crackling fire soundbox in the future.

The media could not be loaded. I've searched everywhere for an electric flickering fireplace insert with height that has a low profile that fits our small unit in our NYC Apt. This was the only one I could find, all of the others the hight was too tall. It gives realistic flickering flames and has the options to turn off the heat. We keep the heat off all the time, we purchased it maily for the look of the flames. It's very simple to use and we've added a small sound box in the back with cracking fireplace sound effect. I just love it! It's the perfect fireplace!!

The media could not be loaded. This product was small enough for the 60s-style fireplace where I wanted to place it. It was the ONLY one I could find on the market that was. I’m very happy with it. I figured if it was made to put into a traditional fireplace or wood stove, why not this item, which is built to have flames inside? It does come with instructions that have many, many warnings about how hot it gets - particularly at the front - when it’s running. And this is true. It gets hot enough to heat up the whole front of the fireplace to be too hot to touch. I’d be nervous to use it if we had kids. We do have cats, and that makes me nervous too. I won’t be running it if I’m not in the room. So, it’s cute but it feels a bit risky.

Got this as a gift for family members who have a fireplace but don’t burn due to CA burn restrictions. They love this as it fits their fireplace very well and looks great. Like the heat option as well.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted an electric fireplace that had a low profile. This is literally the only one that sits this low. I put reflective panels on the inside of my fireplace to act as a screen. It’s very beautiful and the heater is cozy with minimal noise. This fireplace exceeds expectations.

I rent my home and the gas fireplace that was here broke. Landlord wouldn’t replace it. I was left with an empty hearth and chilly room. I purchased this electric heater that looks like a glowing fire. I plugged it in right out of the box. So easy to use! I have young grandchildren and it is cool to the touch. They can enjoy the glow of a fire without worry. One click and I immediately have warm air blowing into the room creating a cozy atmosphere. I couldn’t be happier!

We moved into a house a few years ago that advertised that they had a fireplace. Well there is but the chimney is blocked off and the fireplace is small so I had been looking for an electronic one to put in there. The problem came in with how tiny the fireplace opening was. This one was just the right size and it looks beautiful. I haven't really used the heat yet (turned it on to make sure it works) but I got it in the middle of summer so didn't have it on long. EDIT: November 2023 We used this off and on for about a week with the heat on when it suddenly stopped working. The light effects still worked but not the heat. I wrote to the company and they did send me a new one. The heat works but the thermostat does not. If I have it at level 1 it never turns on and if I have it at a level 2 it never shuts off. It is the only one I found that would fit our fireplace so I have to deal with manually shutting it off and on. The light effects though are beautiful and realistic looking.

The "flames" look real, and the heat is adjustable. You can even turn off the heat and just enjoy the "flames." No mess. Easy to install.
