Worked great and my dog didn’t have to cosplay as a lamp for a week! She had an upcoming spay surgery and I was dreading her having to wear a cone. Decided to take a chance and order this onesie and I’m so happy I did. She had no issue wearing it and it kept her incision dry, covered, and clean. Easy to undo the Velcro tail flap for trips outside. Very soft and stretchy, so you have wiggle room with sizing. She is a 33 pound doodle mutt, just under 18 inches from neck to tail, and the small fit perfectly. Thin and breathable, but held up well in the wash too.

I spent hours looking through all the recovery suits and kept coming back to this one because of the price and its design. I just got my new rescue neutered, and I already had a flexible cone to use, but when he had it on, he was either like a blind bull in a china shop or just totally shut down, so I wanted to try something else and came across these suits. I liked this one a lot because it was super breathable (we live in Cali and it’s 110+ degrees out) and even though he’s primarily inside, I didn’t want a suit that added heat. Easy to get on/off and conveniently adjustable for when it’s time to use the bathroom, and it perfectly covered his little sack so he couldn’t lick his incisions. Plus my boy is a big boi (L-XL) and I’m always having to pay extra for the bigger dog sizes, so if you’re needing one of these suits for a bigger dog and want a great design, and good quality, for an affordable price, go with this one.

Our puppy was getting spayed and the vet told us in the preop appointment that she would be coming home with an E-collar. We absolutely HATE those things. They are big, hard, uncomfortable for the pups, bruise your shines, etc. I was recommended using a post-surgical onesie. I had no idea those were even a thing. I am so glad that I listened and found this. It was amazing. It went on without an issue. The back flap closure worked and didn't pop open. It velcros up out of the way for easy potty breaks. Best of all it was obviously comfortable because our puppy didn't try to get out of it once. It kept her stitches safe, covered and out of reach so she couldn't lick them. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone whose pup is going to have surgery. Save your shines and make you dog more comfortable.

I looked over dozens of these items for my dog and decided on this one. I'm very sorry that I did, it's the absolute worst. I was replacing an older one that had worn out. And this one certainly wasn't cheap but it's the worst design ever. It was purchased for a German Shepherd and no matter what I do I can't keep it on him despite the fact that it's installed properly. It's got this funky flap on the underside that's supposed to come up the back end and you put their tail through it and velcro it to the top of their back. The Garment is constantly sliding off, it ends up tangled up underneath his back legs no matter what I do to keep it on. I sincerely regret this purchase. Now I'm going to have to spend more money to find another one that actually works for the purpose in which it was intended.

What do I mean by one & Done?Great concept crappy material! It started ripping apart and falling apart within a couple days. It's a very very very cheap cotton product for neutered surgery. This should be made a lot better. The only reason I gave two stars instead of 0 stars is because it was a great concept where it goes through the tail and covers the mended area with stitches. I just wish it was a better product. After the next couple days, hopefully he is healed and I will throw it out. Very expensive to use this once and throw out.

Liked the idea of not using a cone for my pup when he got out of surgery. Found this product and purchased it. For the first couple of hours or so, it did a great job, however I had to keep adjusting it as it would slip down his back. It still kept him from licking but having to adjust it frequently became a hassle. This was a medium large size, so I bought a small medium but that was too small! I stuck with the M/L as he only needs to wear it for 10-14 days. I did like the ease of putting it on/off and the ease of strapping it up so he can poop and pee without taking it off. The material is soft and breathable ( since he’s wearing it 24/7, it needs to be comfortable) no hassle putting it on and the Velcro strips hold very well. All in all a good product.

My 8 month old Aussie got spayed and freaked out when I tried to put her cone of shame on. My husband and I decided to look for alternatives and found these onesies. They are AMAZING! I bought two because I knew one would not be enough and they are both great. The Velcro is perfect, the fit is spot on, and the material has stretch to it. I love that she cannot get to her incision site and she does not freak out when we put this on her AND it’s not so tight that it irritates her surgery site. Amazing product!
