It's not the strongest but it does the job. I keep it outside on the patio for my dog's potty area where his turf is. The fence itself doing fine outdoors, but some of the clips on it are rusting. This is a great pen for puppies. I foster and wanted somewhere they could play and be safe. There is enough room to play and get some excersice. It comes with stakes if you want to use it outside in the grass. I haven't done that yet since its cold out. I use it in the house for the puppies. I really like this playpen for my new puppy! It is sturdy, but I like that it can conform to any shape. I also like that it isn’t too tall so I can still reach in and help the puppy when needed. The material is good quality as well.

The pen is well made as well as easy to assemble. It is light enough that a teacup Yorkie (1.5 lbs) was able to push it across a tile floor when she wanted to see what was going on out of her sight. The height is great for smaller dogs and we love the portability of it. We foster dogs for a rescue organization and have been able to use the pen for Boston Terriers, King Charles Spaniel, and a Yorkie, not all at the same time. ... show more

My little guy had a mild stroke that affected his mobility so it’s no longer safe to leave him roaming on his own when we are not here. This was the perfect solution. We can set it up and take it down in just seconds. Definitely just for small dogs or puppies, my boy is 5.5 lbs.

We have made so many combinations of puppy condos using the flexibility this has for our two baby Yorkies. It is perfect because it is so flexible. We also have added a crate sometimes at the end or two and it truly becomes fun for them to explore or sleep together in either crate or outside the crate w/their pillows. I bought this pen for my guinea pigs, and it is wonderful! It's super easy to set up and provides plenty of room for my piggies to play. I purchased a cover, also. The door saves time, because I don't have to remove the cover to get the piggies in and out.
