I bought this pet bed to replace older dog bed that was not worth using any more. This bed is plush and soft and my dogs love it. I bought the large bed. The cats try to sleep on it too at times if they can squeeze in. I have two small Yorkies and a Chihuahua. They all fit on this bed just fine. My husband has a Pomeranian. It is a tight squeeze for all 4 pups, but no problem, I ordered another of the exact same one. These are very pretty beds. They seem easy to clean. I brush off any matter that the pups get on the bed, like grass clippings or such. So far so good. I have only had the bed for a about a week so I don't know yet how the cleaning or washing of the cover will go. It has a zipper that is used to remove the cover, so it seems it should go well. After reading many reviews, I decided to try this bed. I'm tired of pup beds that go "flat" after a few weeks of use, making the bed senseless for the pups to even use. They might as well just lay on the hard floor. I think this bed will keep its shape. After reading the reviews for this bed, I chose the memory foam bed. This seems to be the best choice for a bed that will keep its shape and not be flat upon arrival either. Make sure you chose the type of material you want inside of the bed. I read that the egg carton material did not keep the shape well and had little cushion, so that is why I chose the memory foam, and I am glad that I did. It's a great bed for my pups and very pretty to see on the floor. I got the deep sapphire blue and it is dark enough not to show dirt so easily and also it is quite beautiful. I did buy a size larger than I though I would need, and the reviews were right about that. I ended up with the perfect size for where I wanted to place it. Had I not read the reviews, I would have gotten a size smaller, so I am glad I read them. Every one of my pups love to use the cushion for a pillow. I have the bed up against a wall with the cushion (supportive bolsters) facing out towards the room. I love this dog bed and I'm sure you will too, but it's even better since my dogs all love it too. UP DATE: I have washed the covers and dried them in the washer and dryer. They came out perfect and very clean. These are great beds, just be sure to get the material you want on the inside. I have a 55 pound Aussie and she immediately was drawn to it. The fabric is soft and the mattress insert has a perfect “give” to it. She fits on it comfortably and I’m confident that larger dogs could fit as well.

Overall we love this bed but our dog has been through 2 now because he is able to rip through it after awhile and then it has a bunch of holes and the foam sticks out. If your dog is gentle this is the bed for you! Our dog is 80lbs and tough on stuff so for him this was not a forever bed. I would still buy it again though. The arm on it is great, he loves to rest his head on it. It is easy to take the cover off to wash. The bed itself is comfortable and soft. It is not very firm. Overall great bed. ... show more

My dog gets hot easily and doesn't really like sleeping on dogs beds. We've gone through multiple dog beds but she never likes them. She likes sleeping on ours. BUTTTT she seems to really like this one. Not only is it not hot, it seems to be really relieving the right pressures on her body. I really wanted her to use a dog bed instead of cooling down on the floor because it seemed to be affected her back and hips. So this helps a lot. I've bought a few beds since a pup and he's definitely taken to this new bed. Since we just got it, I can't speak to "chew proof" as only time will tell, but seems durable. As for softness.. this mattress uses the eggshell approach.. so, TBD if my dog will be happy with it long term.. However, for the price, its an overall good value, good size and is easy to unzip the mattress out and toss the liner in the wash.. No complaints on my end. ... show more
