Great compressor, but as stated by another user it uses all 15amps. On a side note I was disappointed in how FedEx handled the package. They rolled it off their truck and left it sitting upside down next to the front porch. I would hope they could have at least looked at the picture on the box and determined which side was up and maybe took a little care in their work. The motor will not turn over the compressor. I have replaced the regulator how do I go about getting a new compressor motor combination??????????????? I had this unit for a while took out of box 1 month ago. startup simple. I ran for a day and second day wouldn't turn on Found over load switch and turned on. 1st sign of trouble. I went to change fittings on the regulator assembly thats when i began to run into problems. that is also when i realized what cheap parts were used on the regulator assembly. I removed cover and attempted to turn on compressor no luck, that is when i discovered a reset button. I reset and you could here the starter relay pull in but the motor would not turn the compressor. I played with some of the adjustments and thats when I broke one of the plastic adjustments when turning with screwdriver, this entire regulator assembly is made from very cheap non standard parts.. the ball valve is a real peace of crap I took video explaining what I saw I guess it is to long. Now I have to figure out to do with a 100+ lb peace of work. Trying to be nice. Thank You for this waste of money ... show more

This was 2nd replacement and it is a piece of crap. Used 1 time went to use today keeps turning off, will not run, seems the motor is not strong enough. Same thing it did with the first one. After 30 days there is no return or refund. Next time I will go back to Harbor Freight.

I ordered this compressor because it has the perfect size and power combination for my work van. It fits in my build out. And it has enough power to run 2 framing/siding/roofing nail guns at the same time. The first compressor showed up. The box was in perfect condition. I opened it only to realize that the pipe that supports the regulator had vibrated and shattered on its long delivery. The compressor made it from china to Wisconsin it is quite a distance. I immediately exchanged it with another. Amazon brought a new one and I shipped the broken one back. The new one arrived and the new unit was broken in the exact same spot despite the box being in good condition. I’ve determined that this is a design flaw because the compressor itself is going to vibrate when in use. And the unit will likely vibrate during transport. I’m going to buy a Rol Air unit because they are made in Wisconsin with a better warranty. As a side note these compressors arrive covered in oil. ... show more
