I was really rooting for this product and it turned out great! I was able to build it myself (however would HIGHLY recommend to build it with another set of hands). I didn’t realize it came with a strip of lights under the front base so that was pleasant surprise. It sits pretty well, you won’t sink into the sofa but it’s good to sit with a book or to pull up a table and work. The mattress pad comes with the sofa. The upholstery is soft and love that it’s exactly what’s pictured in the product images. It also is perfect for our small space. Makes for an another seating space during our everyday use and also serves as a bed for when we host guests. If you’re iffy like I was about purchasing this sofa, just do it. Arrived in two boxes, at the same time. The box with the bed portion was a bit heavy. My wife and I put it together in about 45 minutes, and it only took that long because she insisted on breaking down the boxes and disposing of all the packing materials right then. The cushions come vacuum packed, but expand quite quickly. The seat cushions are very firm, but being on the older side I prefer that for ease of standing up. Low soft furniture at my age is like wallowing in quick sand. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. The bed folds out easily and is comfortable enough for what it’s made for. We are very pleased with the purchase and recommend this to others looking for a multi-functional piece of furniture where space is a premium. ... show more
