Above and beyond my expectations. Really well made. Heavy frame and quality cushions and corduroy material. Can't speak to the assembly instructions as they were missing. All other parts and pieces were there. Contacted Amazon and they sent an email to chic house. Also gave me a phone number but it was just an voicemail and I didn't get a return call. I did get a pdf of instructions that same day however we had been able to figure out assembly without them. Fairly straightforward and easy to put together. The mattress was the biggest surprise. It is really comfortable. I thought being only 3 inches thick, I d sink right to the slats but not so! It is comfortable as a sofa also. It arrived 9 days early without much advance warning. Luckily I was home and able to get it inside. Otherwise I was glad to get it earlier. I am very pleased with this purchase. It's exactly what I wanted and the quality far exceeds my expectations! Needed a better solution for my son to sleep on as we live in a camper. While I had a bit of a hiccup getting this delivered which wasn’t any fault of the manufacturer!! Fed x delivered the second box on a stormy day and had this huge box right at the very back end of the truck. When it arrived at my door the entire box was sitting in two inches of water. Luckily I was home to refuse this package because I would have been stuck with a very wet couch. And I took pictures!! Anyways the company was very understanding and asked for the pictures. Within a few days another box arrived. It was easy to put together. The mattress is a bit thin but I have a memory foam on it at night. I ordered the beige color and it’s almost white. I am keeping it covered to protect it from my dog’s sandy footprints. So far a great purchase and awesome customer service !!! ... show more

Here is my experience with the sofa. It arrives in two boxes; one contains the bed frame, the other the rest of the sofa. It assembles easily enough, but installing the bed frame portion may require two people. Be aware that the back cushions are stored inside the arm rests and be sure to remove them prior to assembly. I missed that in the instructions and had the sofa assembled before I realized I didn't have them. This was a problem because the process of tightening the bolts that secure the bed frame will puncture the vacuum bag that the cushions are stored in and will thus make their removal from the armrests very difficult. So don't do what I did! Once assembled I tried the bed and it was actually quite a bit more comfortable than I expected. The mattress is still a bit thin, but the slats made for better support than I've experienced on other sofa beds. The LED lights are amusing, but ultimately silly. Where the sofa let me down was in how comfortable it was to sit on, which is to say, not very. The back cushions are not really thick enough to sit back against without feeling the top ridge of the rear support, and the bottom cushion feels like it is sloped downward toward the front, so you always have the sensation of sliding forward. Pulling them forward helps a little. I don't hate the sofa, and it will serve my purpose, but it's not a piece of furniture upon which I'll prop up my feet and watch a game; it's just not comfortable enough for that. ... show more

I would give this 10 stars if that was an option!!! I'm incredibly pleased and so happy I chose this particular sleeper sofa! I got the color gray which is a queen size bed (so it's bigger) it came in 2 seperate very large very heavy boxes especially the box that has the couch frame in it, the bed came in a seperate box. Two stronge men are needed to get the boxes inside your home, but the assembling of the couch frame can be done alone although two people are needed to lift the bed onto the couch frame. I might add once the bed is lifted onto the 4 screws that are attached to the couch frame be sure to read the directions before trying to open the bed out because once the bed is placed on the bedframe you then MUST tighten the screws in completely (they are only partially inserted when assembling couch frame which the brackets on the bed attach to. If you do not tighten them once bed is attached the bedframe will not open properly! I actually thought it was damaged/defective until my son saud, wait mom the directions say this. So be sure to read directions properly!! ... show more

I have to say, this little sofa is great! We needed a small sleeper for guests and it had to be small enough to fit into our spare room which doubles as my painting studio; this really fits the bill. It's very pretty and the sleeper-bed feels pretty dang good even without a topper. The ribbed fabric is thick and soft--visually it looks great and does not scream 'cheap' at all. It came in two huge boxes so it's a bit tough to wrangle alone but I did manage to do it while the husband was away. The mattress component with all the metal is crazy-heavy, most women would need a guy to get this up the stairs--somehow I managed it but it was seriously in doubt at several points mid-way. Other than that, putting it together was pretty easy, as others have said, you just need to have the arm strength to lift the iron mattress portion when inserting it onto the pins/screws. The back and side cushions are lovely and soft, the seat cushions are more firm, not sure if they will soften with time but as this will primarily be used for sleeping, that's fine with us. The seat is also a bit too deep which is one of my husband's pet peeves in sofas these days but still, all in all this is a surprisingly nice piece especially for the price point.
