I bought the chair for my mom. She is doing well and very mobile in her early 80s, but she had some back pain and the old chair was just too worn to provide the support she needed. We were somewhat sceptical, but decided - after much research - to try this chair. It came in three boxes. I had to use my dolly to bring the heaviest box inside. Mom and I had no problem at all putting it together. She tried out all the features and everything worked very nicely. It is a much sturdier and harder seat than her old chair, which helps her back very much. She doesn't really need the lift part now, but it is there if she needs it. She loves that it lays completely flat so she can nap or sleep when she wants. She is about 5'6" and slim, and loves the size of the chair. Room for crochet and a cat or two. She pointed out that her heels are right at the end of the leg rest, so a taller person may not like their feet hanging over. I think that is a common problem with the lift chairs because of the room they need to move. I don't think a tall, large man would fit well. But we are, so far, very satisfied. I bought the insurance to protect this expensive purchase, and because we are planning to move in a few months. I want to make sure the chair lasts for a long time! After we move, I think I will buy another like it for me!!

My husband's knees are bad and he will be having surgery in the near future. We decided it would be a good idea to get him a lift chair. From the time it was ordered the seller kept me updated as to the status of the purchase and when it was shipped as well as tracking numbers. It was a beautiful chair - well made/high quality. It even matched my leather couch. However, his legs were too long for the chair. He is 6 ft. tall but I think for him a lot of his height is in his legs. We were sad that it didn't work out because we loved the chair. Seller was wonderful. Prepaid return shipping labels were provided and federal express picked up the boxes. Refund was made back to my account within a few days. I highly recommend the seller and the chair.

My husband has ALS, and this chair has been amazing for him. It’s difficult for him to get up from a normal couch because of the extreme weakness of his right leg & right arm. Ordered 2 recliners and they arrived a week before expected. Seller was great and was proactive about communicating when and what to expect. Very easy to put together. Recliners lay completely flat and are on the firm side which I wanted. The only improvements I would suggest is if they could combine the 2 remotes into 1. The chord on the message/heat controller was a little short, still useable, but I easily ordered a 12" extension chord from amazon and now it's perfect. Would definitely buy again without hesitation.

We bought this for my dad for Christmas. It arrives several weeks early and we gave it to Dad right away. He's six foot one and uses a wheelchair. He loves this. It's well suited for his frame. It has cup holders, massage, heat, and his electric. Electric. We bought the battery pack so that there will be power in case of a power outage. The only thing it doesn't have that we wish it did is storage under the arms of the chair. His last chair had that and it was very useful. Overall we are really pleased!
