I was expecting these visors to be a letdown, But they are pretty legit for around $20. They fit the RF1400 helmet properly, and seem to seal around the edge. They look great. I bought one in “Deep Blue” to match my Origami helmet, and one in “Deep Red” to match my Yagyo helmet. Both of the visors fit correctly and lock in place with the original SHOEI visor lock. “Deep Blue” is a true blue color with some purple hue throughout. “Deep Red” is more of a true Orange color with red hue throughout. The only downside is that a SHOEI pinlock does not form perfectly and leaves an air gap. However, they dont seem to fog up very much without a pinlock installed.

I really wish this had worked out for me, because the color is absolutely perfect — but unfortunately, I ordered the wrong visor for my helmet and had to return it. That said, this is still a great product, and the return was purely my mistake, not a quality issue. First, let’s talk about the color, because wow. The deep purple is gorgeous. It’s rich, vibrant, and looks even better in person than in photos. It has that sleek, custom look that instantly elevates a helmet and makes it stand out without being too loud. If you’re into unique visor colors, this one is seriously impressive. The build quality also feels solid. The visor itself looks well made, with a smooth finish and no visible defects. It doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap, and it has that sturdy, high-quality feel you want from helmet accessories. Everything about it gave me confidence that it would perform well once installed. Unfortunately, the issue was compatibility on my end. I ordered the wrong version for my helmet, so it didn’t fit the way I needed it to. Totally user error. Once I realized it wasn’t the correct match, I had to return it — which was disappointing, because otherwise I would have happily kept it. Even though I returned it, I still think this visor is a great option if you’re ordering for the correct helmet model. The color alone makes it worth it, and the quality seems exactly what you’d expect for a replacement shield. The return process itself was straightforward, which I appreciate, but I honestly wish I’d double-checked my helmet model first because I really wanted this exact visor in that exact color. Bottom line: four stars because the deep purple color is amazing and the visor itself is well made, but I ordered the wrong one for my helmet and had to return it. If you’re sure it fits your helmet, this would easily be a five-star purchase.

5 star for the price and 4.5 star for the quality. Overall it's pretty darn good for a visor that's under 30 bucks. It fits my X15 pretty well and snap locks in place without needing to adjust the mounting bases. The mirror finish looks good but I can see small dark circles when I look at the coating from the outside. Not sure what they are but they're very subtle and not noticeable at all when looking thru from the inside. I can't see them in the photos but you may see smudges that I didn't get completely clean. My main criticism would be with the clarity, it just doesn't seem very crisp, but my eyes are not the best either so that doesn't help. Overall I think it looks great but honestly I prefer the photochromatic and the look of standard grey/black tint. Just seems to suit the helmet better and the mirrored visors seem to make the helmets look cheap or gimmicky IMO. But that's just my personal preference. Overall this is a great deal and performance is excellent considering the affordable price.

Got the photochromatic, just tried it out for the first time and works great. Gets very dark and fits like oem. Haven’t ridden yet though so can’t say if it cancels out wind like oem

Don't know if it just this one or if others but when trying to close completely it barley latches on unlike the oem. And it could be a little bit darker but it works.

Fits my Shoei RF-1400 helmet just like the O.E. and the transition works well. I would say it end up at a Medium to light tint when dark. definitely better than clear, and a lot easier than carrying an extra shield around.
