I purchased 2. My husband took his time to assemble & the rockers go together easily if you know what you are doing. He made sure the screws are tight; however, he was careful not to over tighten, cross thread or strip. The rocker comes painted; however, since I am using the rockers on my front porch, I had him spray w/ outdoor paint for extra protection against the weather. I was worried about the comfort because I am 5'3" & 130 lbs. They are extremely comfortable to me. Hubs is 6' 2" & 300+ lbs. I think he loves them more that me (if that is even possible). We have been using them nightly for about 6 months & we agree they are very sturdy. They are eye catching when I pull into the drive. They just make my front porch pop w/ style. They are versatile enough to work with 'Country Cottage', 'Farmhouse' or even a more modern style. I didn't like the price when I purchased them, but I am over that now! I am so completely satisfied with my rockers & would recommend to anyone (who 1/2 way knows how to assemble furniture).

Generally pleased with this chair. Solid construction. Easy assembly (provided you install all bolts only 1/4 inch initially). Almost perfect. However, one flaw I found very annoying. The chair walks sideways as it rocks (on the order of 2 inches in 100 rocks). Laying a straight edge across the rockers, I found the outside edge of one rocker was 1-2 mm higher than the inside edge of the other rocker. After fabricating a sanding jig to span the rockers, I was eventually able to get the bottom of the rockers parallel with the floor. This virtually eliminated the lateral walking. I contacted the vendor to report the issue, but received no reply. The chair back length is 31.5 inches, which provides good head support. I personally find the chair somewhat uncomfortable without a cushion. Fortunately, the IKEA Poaeng Chair cushion ($39) fits almost perfectly. UPDATE: Initially, I thought sanding the rockers had corrected the walking. However, the problem continued to get worse. Very odd, considering I rock slowly and gently. I searched the internet; none of the suggested problems/solutions were applicable/worked. I purchased a contour gauge to confirm that the rockers had the same profile. I tried different rooms (viz., different floors); no change. I tried different mats/rugs; that only changed the direction of the walking. I even put tread tape on the rockers to increase friction; that only caused the chair to walk backwards as well as sideways. I GIVE UP! Perhaps my chair is defective. I only know that I have spent many hours in other rocking chairs and never experienced such walking. This chair constantly walks into other furniture and/or the wall. I purchased a rocking chair for relaxation. This chair has proved to be only frustration. Complete waste of money and time. UPDATE: Psilvam contacted me regarding this issue. I provided feedback which Psilvam is using to improve the product. Psilvam has issued a full refund for the chair. We have concluded the problem is an isolated incident specific to this production unit. No other reviewer has reported a similar problem to date. You should be able to purchase with confidence, knowing that Psilvam stands behind their product and will remedy any problems.

Our rockers arrived a day early and in perfect condition. They were well packaged to prevent damage. Very easy assembly using 1 screw size. Holes were cleanly drilled and screwed into threaded inserts with no problem. These rockers are heavy and solid and could easily seat a heavier person. These are quality rockers, not flimsy and cheap feeling. They sit nice and rock nice, no complaints. We purchased red ones, maybe not as dark of a red as we hoped? We will see how they stand the test of time and weather. Would highly recommended them so far.
