They look and feel like wood but expect they will last under the elements. It's very windy here but these chairs are weighty so they won't get blown around. They're comfortable to sit in even without cushions, I might just get some lumbar pillows for support. Great buy, highly recommend!

These chairs are well built. They are the perfect size for my front porch. Easy to assemble. Husband had 2 put together a long with a table in less than an hour. I don't know they will wear in weather yet, but they seem very sturdy.

I don't know where to start we're so happy with these chairs. Take a look at them, notice the width of the runners, that's quality. Look at some of the others and you'll see skinny little runners; they even look comically sized to the chairs. Let's take a minute and mention size. I'm a big fella and I've got more room side to side than I could have imagined. These chairs are BIG and comfy. And comfy, these chairs not only have a contoured seat, but the back is curved too. You could spend hours in these, but you might want to go with a cushion in that case regardless. Assembly was so easy. With the exception of the runners having countersunk screws that went directly into the legs, all the other assembly bolts went into a metal sleeve. I didn't expect this at all. The holes for the screws are engineered (placed) so there's only one way they'll go together. The seat and the back are preassembled so basically all you had to assemble was the structural parts and no fiddly slats. Perfect. OK now let's talk sturdiness, they're not going to blow off your porch, period. They're heavy like 50lbs heavy. These might be the old time Buick Roadmasters of porch rockers and I'm sure no one would be disappointed buying these.

Awesome chairs! The perfect color and the perfect size. Super easy to put together…65-year-old woman and I did it myself! However, moving them to the front porch was tough. They are super heavy! There was an area without paint. I contacted the company for a little bit of paint/stain. They didn’t have any. They offered to make it up to me financially. So far, they haven’t. It’s definitely too big and heavy to return.

This chair is beautiful! I bought 2 similar a few years ago, they are no longer available, so I thought I’d try this one. My son put it together in less than 15 mins! It sits a little higher than most chairs, very comfortable I’m 5’7 … makes it easier to get out of! It’s also nice and roomy…. I’m a bigger woman and fit very comfortably! The other 2 I have are a few years old, stay out in all weather and still look brand new… if I didn’t know it wasn’t the same company I’d swear it were! The tall back is also very comfortable for relaxing. Shipped very quickly! Don’t hesitate, I bet you’ll love it!
