They look and feel like wood but expect they will last under the elements. It's very windy here but these chairs are weighty so they won't get blown around. This a nice chair, heavy duty, easy to assemble, wide and tall, color (black) is what I expected. A few creeks for a while after initial assembly but seems to have worked themselves out. Keep the included wrench to snug the bolts up after a few months of use. They didnt necessarily loosen up but I think as the chair settles in they just needed to be touched off one more time. Nice rocker, you wont be disappointed.

It's a decent chair. Reasonably comfortable, seems quite sturdy. Only had it a week, so no comments on durability yet. The one I got was absolutely NOT 6 parts (14 in all), took far more than 5 steps and close to 30 minutes to assemble. The instructions are pictures and not exactly intuitive with regard to how various pieces need to be positioned. Disappointing after I chose this chair over the myriad of others for the ease of assembly. If you've bought one, I hope your experience was better. Still, if you're reasonably handy, it's not the end of the world.

We purchased these rockers, based on the idea of their longevity. But after sitting in them, found them really very comfortable. We did get pads for them also. They're nicely oversized, to give a roomy seating area. And after being so happy with them, purchased Psilvam side table, bench, potting table and 2 tall adirondack chairs, to complete our entire porch re-do! We loved the simplicity of assembly of them all, the sturdiness of each piece and how nice they all looked. We did have an issue with some missing bolts in one of the boxes, but the company sent them right away. I highly recommend any of the products of this company and only wish there were 6 stars to give them!

These are excellent chairs. I am very impressed considering what quality resin furniture costs here on the coast. (anywhere really). I got two of these sets a year ago and paid close to $400 per set. I see that they are cheaper today, especially when one of the colors is at a discount. Both sets have been outside for the full year, with no problems. The ones on the front porch have even been blown off the porch multiple times and survived a 2ft drop into the flower beds. Don't get me wrong, they are heavy. But 40+ mph winds coupled with the rain caused the chair to rock and slide bit by bit along the wet stone which gets slick. I had an manufacturing issue with one of the arms of one chair, where the arm was misaligned with the vertical rails creating a gap between the back of the chair and that sides where they are supposed to sit flush against each other. I sent the company a picture and requested a replacement side piece. They immediately responded with an entirely new chair. The hardware is stainless steel. No rust. After you use the chair things creak and settle into place better, and you should go back and tighten the bolts one more time. After that, these rock nice, quiet, and solid. I can't tell if the preassembled pieces are mortise and tenon construction or just welded/glued butt joints. But no issues so far. I did a lot of looking before deciding on these. They are worth every penny.
