These products are available in two sizes and feature flexible mounting options for easy installation.Designed for motorcycles, this new tweeter provides the highest output and easy mounting to keep up with high road noise.Depending on the thickness of your baffle, there are two flush mounting options.     • Great tweeter
I have a center channel in my home surround sound that is made of 2 car audio 6x9s. It does fine and serves it's purpose, but I've always had to turn it away up to hear dialogue. I added one of these tweeters to it and the sound is now much brighter and dialogue is clear. It did a great job of filling out the sound coming from that speaker. It's super easy to mount and I like that it comes with the filter capacitor so I don't have to install a separate crossover. This things is very heavy and well built, and I'm sure I'm not using it to it's full capacity. ... show more

    • Excellent quality bullet tweeter with classing mounting ring.
I plan to use this with my bass amp; I love the bright sound of round-wound stainless steel strings, and my little amp only has an eight inch bass driver... which sounds good, but lacks high end. This PRV bullet tweeter should compliment it nicely to accent the high end from my bass. I like that PRV actually includes a crossover capacitor... I prefer to use at least a 12db per octave filter, but the cap will do the job in the meantime. I also like the mounting ring that it includes; it can be mounted to the amp's speaker baffle with no screws; just cut a hole the right size, push the driver through from the back, and tighten the threaded ring on from the front... it should make for a clean looking addition. The price is higher than some similar drivers, but with PRV, you get what you pay for! Recommended! ... show more

    • Great little tweeter!
I'm an audiophile. I have a big audio system in my Jeep, quality earbuds for working, working out, headphones for work, headphones for enjoyment, just all sorts of things. I'm currently in the process of building an audio system for my barn, and am trying to have fun with it. When I saw these big tweeters I decided to give them a try. It arrived in a nice box, well-padded and contained just the one tweeter. This thing is BIG, and heavy. I've heard a lot about PRV but haven't really played with their gear. This tweeter has a very distinct look, for sure. The baffle gives a lot of options for mounting. This could be mounted sticking out, partially out, or pretty much totally recessed. The speaker posts are beefy, and can support pretty sizeable wire. Given the width of these you can run the crossovers lower than with standard 1" tweeters, so it can give you a different sort of balance in your setup. Overall I'm pleased with this tweeter. It's big, plays lower in the spectrum and so I can run them with a larger driver (like an 8"), and has a great look. ... show more

Wasn't sure what to expect, so I was very surprised when I took this tweeter out of the box. Wow, it is a very heavy duty unit. It is so well built with a fantastic fit and finish. Just looks to high quality. Came packed well. Has nice screw down terminals. I thought it came with instructions, but it's just a data sheet. Least they could give you a simple hookup schematic. Reason for a star off. So far, it is sounds very nice, quality unit, quality sound. Will update this if anything changes. Very nice, if you are okay with the price, would recommend. ... show more

This is a review for PRV Motorcycle Bullet Tweeter 2.25" Short Horn 120 Watts 4 Ohm MT2.2TWC-4 Chrome Neodymium Magnet High SPL Competition - Flush Mount Compact Design - MOTO Series (Single). I have to admit, I don’t do motorcycles but they made a great addition to my speaker box. I even made them their own little box so as not be damaged from the woofers. They are made from solid materials and were easy to wire in and get working. They came well packaged and for the quality, they are priced well too. ... show more
