  • Great bulbs integrated seamlessly with HomeKit and Alexa
Size: 2 Pack Matter-enabled
Was interested in trying out the HomeKit ecosystem after recently acquiring a HomePod mini. Had previously only had a smart plug that worked as Alexa. These integrated with Apple home seamlessly, and I was also able to add them to Alexa afterwards with without an issue. They get relatively bright and range of color is great. Most importantly they stay connected and I’m able to easily control them with both Siri and Alexa. At this price is no reason not to get these bulbs. Unless something drastic changes, I will be sticking to these for all of my lights in the future. A+. ... show more

  • Excellent budget smart bulbs w/ Matter
Size: 4 Pack Matter-enabled
Aside from this 4-pack of Linkind bulbs, all the smart bulbs in my house are Hue. And while I think Hue bulbs are probably the highest-performing option available, their cost is out of control: a single color Hue bulb costs $40, but you can get a 4-pack of Linkind color bulbs for just $30! In cases where you don't expect to need extremely precise color accuracy or very low dimming, Linkind bulbs are an incredible value. They can be set up over the new Matter standard, meaning that they don't require a separate hardware bridge (like the $60 bridge that Hue bulbs STILL require) to connect to WiFi, and they work seamlessly with every major smart home platform, including Apple Home! And Apple users will know that Apple Home smart bulb options have been pretty limited and expensive, historically. I installed the Linkind bulbs in a ceiling fan light, where I mostly wanted to set them on ambiance/white with dimming. On brighter and/or cool white settings, they do great. Where they struggle a bit is on warmer settings—here, the light tends to be a little too yellow or red, and never quite hits that warm amber that I like for the most relaxing scenes. Dimming is a bit uneven here as well, as certain hues seem to have a much higher minimum brightness than others. The rest of the color range is nice enough— Linkind produces very deep, intense blues, reds, and greens, though color blends between the primary colors are a little hit and miss. Overall, Linkind bulbs are a fantastic value that I highly recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive way to add a lot of bright, colorful mood lights in any room. I would especially recommend these for indirect light such as a tree lamp or spot lights aimed at a wall, or for the kids' rooms. If you are looking for color bulbs that do white/ambiance really well, I might go for bulbs that do white spectrum only or shell out for more expensive color bulbs. Pros: - Unbeatable price - Super easy setup over Matter - Works with Apple Home/Siri! (and Alexa, Google) - Great max brightness Cons: - Color range/accuracy is so-so (some colors are better than others) - Performance at dimmest settings is uneven (depends on color) ... show more

  • Great product, mislabeled by Amazon
Size: 6 Pack Matter-enabled
These lightbulbs are amazing quality and connect quickly and painlessly. I truly like them better than most of the bulbs I’ve tried. The app is far better than similarly priced competitors and you get Matter support. The description says they’re compatible with Apple but I cannot for the life of me get them to connect to the Apple Home app. Not a big deal unless that is your primary smart home system. The quality and price far outweigh this issue, which I’m thinking is a description issue and not a fault of the mfr. ... show more

  • Easily the best, most compatible, and most affordable lighting solution
Size: 2 Pack Matter-enabled
I bought these primarily as an impulse purchase. I have a Phillips Hue system, but the bulbs are expensive and I’m getting annoyed at having to use a bridge. When these arrived and I tested them out, I was ecstatic. They work flawlessly with Apple’s HomeKit, they work flawlessly with the AIdot app, and they work flawlessly with third party apps. Are you seeinng a trend? The default scenes are nice, the brightness level, and the range of brightness you can select, are good. They’re lightweight, don’t get warm, and smaller than Hue bulbs, meaning they can be placed in lamps or fixtures that Hue can’t. Great purchase, will absolutely be adding more. ... show more

  • Working with Homeassistant , Alexa and Google. HomeKit needs a hub.
Size: 2 Pack Matter-enabled
Good bright light and colourful and pairs quickly with no problems. I used the Aidot app to pair the bulb and after setting in the app to link to Alexa and Google the bulb showed in the Alexa and Google smart homes. There is no link or connection to Apple HomeKit. After buying an Echo Studio smart speaker I was interested to try a matter enabled device. Matter requires that each smart home ecosystem has a Matter hub. Most Amazon Echo speakers have a built in hub. When I connected using the Aidot app and link to Alexa two instances of the bulb appeared in Alexa as Alexa automatically connected the bulb as a Matter device via to the Echo speaker as well as via the App. I also connected the bulb to Home assistant and Alexa directly without the Aidot App, after installing the Home assistant Matter beta integration which creates the hub in Homeassistant. I was also able create a link code in Alexa and add to Homeassistant. Home Assistant doesn’t yet have the code generation facility to do this from Homeassistant to another smart home. I presume that if I had Google and / or HomeKit hub I could connect to those directly or through the share code. Once installed using Matter the Aidot app will find the bulb. The advantage of using Aidot app is that there is an extra scene function. Aidot music light affect only works with the device microphone or additional hardware. ... show more

  • Temperature listing is not accurate
Size: 1 Pack Matter-enabled
I received my bulb today. It paired just fine with my smartthings infrastructure. Unfortunately the marketing materials are not accurate. It is 2700K-6500K, not 1800K-6500K. Not a big deal for some people, but for those of us who use it in bed for reading, I specifically bought it because of the temperature. Disappointed here. Undecided on if I will return it or not. ... show more
