Size: 4 Pack Matter+Button
The Linkind Matter WiFi Smart Light Bulbs represent a significant advancement in smart home lighting, particularly in their seamless integration with the Matter protocol. These bulbs excel in their ability to connect directly to Matter via Google Home, displaying accurate color and brightness levels without the need for additional apps or complicated setup processes. This sets them apart from competitors like Phillips Hue, which, while technically Matter-compatible, requires users to go through the Phillips Hue app for setup. For true Matter capability, Phillips Hue even necessitates a separate hub, although it's worth noting that this review is based on experience without the hub. While the native Aidot app offers some useful features, such as electricity usage tracking and access to critical network details about the lights, it does have its drawbacks. The app is somewhat cluttered and not particularly intuitive, with room for improvement in the automation department. Additionally, the presence of numerous ads can detract from the user experience. However, it's important to stress that exploring the native app was only done after successfully connecting and testing the bulbs via Matter through Google Home. In comparison to other popular smart bulbs like Phillips Hue, Wiz, and Govee, the Linkind bulbs truly shine when it comes to Matter compatibility. While some competitors may offer more polished native apps (though this can be subjective and depend on user preference), the Linkind bulbs outperform them all when connected via Matter through platforms like Google Home. One of the most impressive aspects of these bulbs is the flexibility they offer users. You have the option to use Matter, the native app, or even both simultaneously. This versatility allows users to leverage the strengths of each approach, catering to both those who prefer a streamlined, Matter-only setup and those who want to explore more advanced features through the native app. The ease of connection cannot be overstated. Unlike some competitors that require multiple resets or have a limited window for initial setup, the Linkind bulbs connect seamlessly to Matter. There's no need to struggle with timing or repeated attempts at pairing, making the setup process remarkably smooth and user-friendly. These bulbs offer impressive RGBTW color-changing capabilities, music syncing features, and compatibility with major smart home ecosystems like Apple Home, Alexa, and SmartThings. With a brightness of 800 lumens and an energy-efficient 9W power consumption, they provide excellent illumination while keeping energy costs low. Linkind includes what they call a "button" with these bulbs, which functions as a remote control. While it does offer some convenience for quick adjustments without using a smartphone or voice commands, it has limitations in its setup options. Ultimately, its functionality may not be compelling enough for all users, and in this case, it was decided not to incorporate it into the smart home setup. In conclusion, the Linkind Matter WiFi Smart Light Bulbs offer unparalleled flexibility and ease of use when it comes to Matter integration, particularly through Google Home. Their ability to function seamlessly without additional apps or hubs, combined with their competitive feature set and performance, makes them a top recommendation for smart home enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The emphasis on Matter compatibility, accurate representation in Google Home, and hassle-free setup process sets these bulbs apart in an increasingly crowded smart lighting market.

Size: 4 Pack Matter-enabled
I bought this 4 pack to install in my 4 outdoor lights in my house. Set up was super simple and fast. The furthest one from the house is about 30 feet away and works perfectly. Color choice is limitless.

These are so fun! Very good quality and lighting and with the app, you can do so many colors and themes. They are easy to hook up to Alexa to turn on and off by voice controls. These make me feel so techy- very functional and I will probably buy more for my basement as well.

Aside from this 4-pack of Linkind bulbs, all the smart bulbs in my house are Hue. And while I think Hue bulbs are probably the highest-performing option available, their cost is out of control: a single color Hue bulb costs $40, but you can get a 4-pack of Linkind color bulbs for just $30! In cases where you don't expect to need extremely precise color accuracy or very low dimming, Linkind bulbs are an incredible value. They can be set up over the new Matter standard, meaning that they don't require a separate hardware bridge (like the $60 bridge that Hue bulbs STILL require) to connect to WiFi, and they work seamlessly with every major smart home platform, including Apple Home! And Apple users will know that Apple Home smart bulb options have been pretty limited and expensive, historically. I installed the Linkind bulbs in a ceiling fan light, where I mostly wanted to set them on ambiance/white with dimming. On brighter and/or cool white settings, they do great. Where they struggle a bit is on warmer settings—here, the light tends to be a little too yellow or red, and never quite hits that warm amber that I like for the most relaxing scenes. Dimming is a bit uneven here as well, as certain hues seem to have a much higher minimum brightness than others. The rest of the color range is nice enough— Linkind produces very deep, intense blues, reds, and greens, though color blends between the primary colors are a little hit and miss. Overall, Linkind bulbs are a fantastic value that I highly recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive way to add a lot of bright, colorful mood lights in any room. I would especially recommend these for indirect light such as a tree lamp or spot lights aimed at a wall, or for the kids' rooms. If you are looking for color bulbs that do white/ambiance really well, I might go for bulbs that do white spectrum only or shell out for more expensive color bulbs. Pros: - Unbeatable price - Super easy setup over Matter - Works with Apple Home/Siri! (and Alexa, Google) - Great max brightness Cons: - Color range/accuracy is so-so (some colors are better than others) - Performance at dimmest settings is uneven (depends on color)

I purchased 18 of these bulbs to replace the old wore out bulbs I’ve had for 2-3 years! I was nervous buying into a brand I hadn’t heard of or experimented with before, but I can confirm I’m super impressed and pleased with these bulbs. The app was simple and yet well designed to me, it was easy to pair to the app, I had one bulb that didn’t connect to WiFi and I went into the bulb and just restarted it and it paired no proablem. Just maybe a issue with my router. It implemented with google home well and that was nice. I did drop one of the bulbs when installing onto the hard wood and it survived no problem! This could definitely be a upcoming company and I’m all for it! I was there with Govee before it became the company it is today and I hope for the same for this company!
