These pruning shears are of high-quality and arrived pre-oiled. In fact, the oil was all over the packaging and handles. After a cleanup, they have a smooth action, are very sharp, and work well pruning my fruit trees after a recent frost killed a lot of the top branches (1/4-1/2 Inch). They cut cleanly without any issue at all. The shears came with an extra spring I suppose if you happen to lose one, which is great. The shears have all-metal handles which aren't so comfortable on your hands, some padding would be great. Overall these are excellent pruning shears.

This is one of those tools that I prefer to be without any "extras." Rubber grips get dirty, cracked, slip off, and eventually sticky. Blade covers get lost. Fancy locking mechanisms get loose or stuck. Just give me the tool that does the job. These pruning shears have tight surface contact which ensures a sharp clean cut. If they ever get lose it will be easy to tighten them back up. The locking mechanism is simple and effective. And it comes with an extra spring, which I am sure I will lose in the near future. All in all, no complaints.

'Tho hardly the peak of Spring pruning season, we tried this GATTLELIC Pruning Shears on a large crab apple tree along our driveway. Some of the branches we cut were 3/4 inch diameter at the base and notoriously hard-to-cut. The shears handled the strain, and cut them cleanly, with no 'stringing' and no deformation to the tool. We liked it best for 'nibbling' small sucker shoots from the trunk and larger branches. Good Clippers. My first use was to trim 1/2" thick branches from one of my rose bushes and these handled the job well with clean easy cuts. The clippers felt sturdy but I gave them 4 stars because the grip is simply metal without a cushiony rubber coating. Only having them for a few days, I can't speak to how well they will hold up over the long haul, but I think they will be worth their price.

These are quality pruning shears. They are very basic without bells and whistles, but get the job done and slice into stems very quickly and efficiently. The shears include an extra spring just in case.

These sheets come quite sharp, and there’s an extra spring. I’m hoping that is “just in case” and not an indication of durability. It would have been great if a case or blade cover/cap came with them. But these are going to work quite well I’m sure
