Nice manual auger, works well blades are very sharp and I like how the height of auger is adjustable since I am a very short woman! Tried to purchase a name brand drill, and didn’t have enough torque. After researching, any auger used with a drill Must have professional high torque ability, not fault of auger. Not a big fan of the hexagon head for 1/2 inch drill. Kept slipping and difficult to align.

Needed a chuck adapter for my 20v drill. Using my drill it could not cut the ice hardly. Ended up killing my drill, grounding out the gears in it and left it smoking. However, was very thankful that the hand attachment was there and worked really well. Cut 12 inches of ice fast and easy. Would recommend. You probably will just need a more powerful drill than mine.
