I'm typically against this type of collar, but I was grasping at straws for my Husky. The protective tips for the prongs make me more comfortable to try it. Thankfully it seems to be very effective, more so than a martingale collar. Less overall pulling during our walks. Puppy pulling a lot less and staying closer to me on walks, allowing for a more enjoyable walk for the both of us. Highly recommended for all dog owners seeking a positive and comfortable walking experience if you feel nothing else is working. This Collar works like a dream... Admittedly, it is a knock off of the high-end Sprenger that I wanted, BUT, I also liked the idea of having the black neoprene cover for going to the park, so my pup doesn't look like a monster--even though he sort of is. He is VERY reactive on the leash. I didn't like the neoprene cover as much as I thought because it made the collar so bulky on my 40 lb big puppy. I took off the cover and haven't gone back. I did have to take needle nose pliers and take off a prong on each side--I probably should do another prong as it's supposed to sit higher on their neck just behind their jaws and this one falls down low-supposedly giving less control. My puppy is very well behaved and does not pull when this collar is on---UNLESS we encounter another dog while leashed... but it gives me confidence that I can control him. I did hook a connector to both collars as a back up in case one or the other collar breaks. (He is pictured with my daughter's highly reactive dog--it took us 24 hours to introduce the two and now to keep working on desensitizing mine--my goal is to be able to take him to doggie daycare for some of his energy, and more socialization and this collar is helping our training.

Like night and day honestly. I recently rescued a very hard headed and overall bit of a terror dog. He’s the sweetest thing in the world but he’s also a madman, he’s only 11 months old so it makes sense. My other dog was trained with a harness just fine, but this boy was no match. A walk with him literally ripped the first layer of skin off my hands from the leash pulling so hard. Decided it was time to try a prong collar, and it has worked wonders so far. We’re still training with it but as of now I can comfortably take him for walks, with very minimal pulling. Like yes we can go sniff at this spot but you don’t have to literally drag me there. I feel like I have much more control of him. It’s super easy to clip on, and the prongs are very sturdy as well. It’s easy to use and works!

I have run into the sizing issue in another collar before, diff brand. My husky/german shepherd mix weighs approximately 65/70lbs. Her neck is slightly over 18in. I bought the med/lg and had to remove 2 links. It still does not stay up high on her neck behind the ears like it is supposed to (the company's video does not show it properly fitted fyi) but I dont think I can remove another link. I sized down in the past with a diff brand because of this same issue; it was not weight rated for her but fit her neck perfectly. Because of her weight and her strong pull (BIG prey drive) the collar was able to start pulling apart at the main hook and it pulled loose several times (we use a soft backup collar that the prong is attached to for this reason and I highly recommend for others). This collar otherwise seems well made (just by look and feel bc I haven't used yet). I'll try it on a walk and see how it does.

It works great, maybe too well. I'd recommend this colar for walks only. We made the mistake of using the colar on a lead in the back yard and it didn't end well. It works perfect for walking our 120 lbs 10 month cane corso. However, when we used it on the lead in the back yard our Cane Corso sprinted and was abruptly stopped by the colar. Imagine a large Cane Corso running full force and stopping himself with this intimidating colar. He ended up snapping it but hurt himself in the process. I was able to replace the broken link because the company sends additional links for sizing. After the abrupt stop the dog just layed in one spot thinking that if he moved it would hurt. using the colar on a lead was a mistake on our part and we probably should have known better, but the colar most definitely works, and works well. It's easy to adjust and very simple to put on and take off. It's durable and looks good. Just don't make the mistake of putting the dog on a lead, use it for walks only.

I like the ease of putting it on and that it’s cute for a prong collar. Mine was a little large not sure if I measured it wrong. My dog has a white neck and every time I would use it, it would stain her white neck black/dark grey exactly around where the collar is. I assume it’s from the rubber black tips. For that reason could only use it without.

I first purchased this collar a little less than two years ago. The clasp was starting to go, so I ordered a new one a couple days ago. It just arrived. You should know that although the seller is using the same photo to illustrate the collar I purchased in July of 2024, the new one is built on a 3/4 scale. It is significantly smaller, shorter and flimsier. Since the original failed to last a minimum of two years, I seriously doubt this one will last half that time. I will be returning it. In the attached image, you can see the original on the right and the new one on the left.
