  • Great projector with excellent customer service!
Style: without Google TV System
We purchased this projector for family movie nights and have really enjoyed it. The picture is bright and clear, it was easy to set up, and it has been a great way for our family to watch movies and shows together. After a few months, our projector unfortunately developed a black spot in the image that gradually became larger. I contacted HAPPRUN customer service and was very impressed by how kind, responsive, and helpful they were. They quickly offered to arrange a replacement and also provided useful instructions for ventilation, cooling, and properly powering the projector on and off. Although I wish the issue had not happened, I understand that defects can occasionally occur. What matters to me is how a company responds, and HAPPRUN truly stood behind its product and took care of us. We have otherwise really enjoyed the projector and are looking forward to continuing our family movie nights with the replacement! ... show more

  • Great product for the price. Great product for the price.
Style: without Google TV System
For the price it is very effective for movie night. I use it outdoor inside my gazebo and possibly outside in the firepit area after I build my pergola. During the day the brightness doesn’t suit well but around sunset and nightfall the picture is excellent. Sound quality is good for the price. For better quality sound, I’d connect a wired or Bluetooth soundbar. Easy to connect with a hdmi adaptor. The focus works well with the adjuster nob. Overall good purchase for movie nights. ... show more

  • I would give it a B, not perfect has room for improvement. I would give it a B, not perfect has room for improvement.
Style: without Google TV System
The picture quality is great when you get it focused. There are two different things to use to focus you will need to use both of them to get the picture to focus. Before I had it on a shelf I did have it sitting on my head board I noticed that with movement something from kids moving on and off the bed, or even if you feel asleep watching a movie and moved to much sometimes it would be out of focus the next time I would use it. I don't have that issue now that it is on a shelf. Connecting it to my wifi was easy, same with setting it up to a laptop or my phone. The only thing I couldn't seem to get it to connect to was a splitter to be able to charge my phone though the projector and be able to use it to stream at the same time without having to mirror my phone but connect directly into my phone . You can hear the fan a little bit with projector but that is expected with most everything when it comes to it. I just make sure there is enough air flow around it on all sides and nothing is blocking it so that it is cool. The speaker on the projector is okay. Mainly why I took one star off but it does have the ability to blue tooth. So when I want to watch an action movie or something that I want the sound to be basically movie theater loud almost I will either hook into my wireless speaker, or head phones if am watching it late at night. I like the fact you can change the contrast and the density with the colors. This allows you to customize what you are using it for. I mainly use it for movies an shows so I keep it on the theater setting gives me the best viewing for that. You also can adjust the zoom for the size of screen you want it to project to which you can see it adjusting while doing so its not a guessing game on the size you are picking. It allows you to fit it to what you are projecting on. You also can pick what type of screen you are projecting such at full, wide, 16:1 etc. I did hook a roku into it. That wasn't hard to do. The only thing that I had to figure out was when it asked you to pick what brand you were using to control the power and volume. I had to google that. I think I just randomly selected tell it let me move on from that part but once it did basically did the rest for me with the set up. Over all good projector. Cost is good. The speaker could be better. Knowing what to pick for roku or streaming sticks would be nice. ... show more

  • Affordable and Productive

Perfect, bright, premium, had this for a year snd still works great. I sync speakers to them for a little boost in audio.
Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2026 by Alot of scratches on the glass of the watch, grazed scratches also on the silver ring of the watch, watch band was in good condition. Not really a good refurbished item.

  • Great product and customer service

The projector is great. Very good image and when we had an issue with it, we contacted the customer service and they provided an amazing solution. Tudy answered our emails in a timely manner and provided us with step-by-step tests for our device and at the end of it, when we could not solve it, she offered a replacement. The fan noise is ok, it is easy to connect and it has remote control. Overall, it’s a great option to use at home. ... show more

  • Great value, keystone pretty useless, love this unit!
Style: without Google TV System
This Happrun projector is worth every penny. My last projector cost 4x as much and was only about 1/4 better in quality -- if that. Image quality is about the same, with the happrun actually beating out my old one considerably in noise reduction and sharpness settings. The haprun has better sharpness at the edges when I get it set up just right (see below,) but the top left and bottom left corners are still a little soft after doing everything I could to ensure a good setup. (Not a deal breaker for me.) The fan on this happrun is half as loud as my old one, which is great. The little hatch you can open on the bottom of the unit to easily clean the lens and screen is wonderful! I had to disassemble my old one to clean it, which meant there were often dust spots on our movie screen because it was such pita to maintain the machine. All projectors should be this easy to clean. The lightweight design is great. Not only is it portable, the standard tripod screw hole in the bottom makes it possible to just stick this on any tripod or light stand for quick setup and takedown. The speaker is actually loud enough to overpower the fan. I'll never use it because I use a soundbar or headphones. The speaker is tiny and sounds hollow but it'll work in a pinch of you need it. I only use HDMI so I can't speak to other connectivity features of the device. The one area this projector lacks in comparison to my old one is the keystoning feature. My old one offered four point digital keystone correction, while this haprun only features vertical keystone by means of a wheel. Yeah, you can use the wheel to square up your image if you can't get the projector level with your screen but I don't recommend it if you actually want to enjoy what this projector can offer. Any slight adjustment of the keystone wheel will make everything go out of focus from the center of the image to the bottom or top edge, depending on whether you're adjusting the top or bottom with the keystone. You absolute MUST get the projector level with your screen left to right because there is no horizontal keystone. If you move the keystone wheel, you may find yourself having a devil of a time getting your image in focus again because there's no markings printed on the machine to tell you where to return the keystone wheel exactly to center. I got mine as close to perfection as possible by adjusting the focusing wheel until the edge of the image that was NOT altered by the keystone wheel was as sharp as I could get it. Then I adjusted the keystone wheel until the opposing edge of the image was in equal focus. On my copy, doing this resulted in a sharp center as well. Once the image was in focus corner to corner, I just angled the body of the actual projector to straighten the image on the wall, ignoring the keystone altogether. To enjoy this projector most, you're gonna want to avoid using the keystone at all, which means you've got to have the projector perfectly level with the surface you project it on. I already owned a good tripod with a ball head mount that allows me to position the projector however I need to. If you don't have something to set it on or a way to mount it, you might not enjoy the image quality as much. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase! If you're on a budget this is a perfectly acceptable TV replacement for watching movies or cinematic shows that deserve a big screen. At this price, you really can't go wrong. You just need a way to mount it and a little knowledge on how to set it up to get the most out of it. Oh, also, I went over to YouTube and used "projector test patterns," to get mine into focus and to help me adjust the color, brightness, and contrast. I highly recommend using those. It'll make your setup process way easier and give you a better looking image. ... show more

  • Difficult to setup - had issues, but great picture quality and sound
Style: without Google TV System
I recently replaced my older projector with this one mainly because this projector has instructions for cleaning, and previous projector got dirt inside but there are no instructions for taking apart and cleaning. The previous projector was a cheaper model, but it worked fine with the FireStick I had. This one? First of all, the firestick, did not fit well into the HDMI slot of this projector. It would not seat. I considered returning it but finally got one of my firesticks to work with an HDMI dongle. I think the issue is that the firestick is too big and so cannot seat into the projector's HDMI connection. Next, the previous projector I could tilt upwards. This one has no tilt function. So I ended up having to buy a projector stand for it. In the previous model, I was able to control HDMI functions with the projector controller. In this one, you have to have the Firestick controller for that, and the projector controller only operates the projector which is inconvenient, but it works. Sound is good! I haven't figured out how to adjust the picture size, since that option is greyed out in the settings. I'm not sure if it is because I am using HDMI with it, there doesn't seem to be an explanation. I was able to connect to blue tooth speaker. Other settings I can utilize. Overall, quality is better, but the setup is harder. Previous one I had was pretty much plug and play right on my dresser. For the price, if you can fiddle with it, so far it seems great, but I am not giving it 5 stars because of the HDMI plug-in issue, the controller issue and the lack of adjustments one can make to project onto a wall from a desk because you cannot tilt. The stand I purchased has tilt, so hoping to resolve this issue but now I will have another piece of furniture I will have to arrange in my bedroom, and I do not like that at all. I saw there was a newer model of this, and these issues may be resolved in that one. ... show more

  • Solid little projector, even better support!
Style: without Google TV System
Solid little projector for the price. The picture is brighter than I expected, and the setup was straightforward — I plugged it in, connected to Wi-Fi, and was streaming within a few minutes. The built-in speakers are decent for casual viewing; I'd still recommend a Bluetooth speaker for movies. Customer service deserves a special mention. When I reached out about needing a replacement, the response was prompt, polite, and patient. They didn't make me jump through hoops — confirmed the issue, sent out a replacement, and gave me a clear delivery window. That kind of responsiveness is rare with budget electronics and made the whole experience much better. Good pick if you want an affordable projector backed by a seller who actually stands behind the product. ... show more
