I use this light on my wife's workstation. She conducts virtual meetings and trainings often and needed a light that was low profile, adjustable color temps, and could offer enough light to make the recordings professional. This light totally delivers.

This is a rock solid light. When paired with an ordinary overhead office/room light, this light makes a huge comparative difference. The difference I refer to really comes down to being able to fill in pesky shadows by easily adjusting the angle of the light, and taking control of your skin tone with the light’s color temperature options. As mentioned, even one of these lights does a great job if the room is already somewhat lit from elsewhere. However, I’m going to be picking up a second one of these, as I believe two of them at different angles will make my zoom calls look like I’m presenting from a professionally lit studio. Which, if you can, why not?!

The light quality that comes from this is very pleasant. It's nice and soft, and thankfully it's not super harsh to look at if it's facing you (Which has been a big issues for someone like me who has had lasik, LED lights HURT). The controls on the light are very responsive and feels great to use. Changing brightness is in steps, and you can go from very bright to nicely dim in a few presses. Changing color temp is very easy also. Overall the quality of light you get from this is very beautiful. There's a little warmth that comes from the light when using it, so heads up for those streaming in smaller spaces that this will eventually add up along with your pc to the heat in the room. Where it can be improved is the stand. Currently the stand is pretty good but the stem of the stand can only rotate on the base, and tilt the light up and down on the neck. I have cheaper led lamps with the same skinny design where you can also rotate at the neck so the controls are facing you for easy access while the head is positioned where you want it. I think adding this extra port of articulation would be super helpful as this light can be placed in some pretty distant places away from the user due to being a stream light. Bluetooth connectivity could be awesome also, just to at least turn it on and off and adjust brightness. At $59.99 it's pretty much half the price of a El Gato Keylight Air, which this looks to be inspired by. Being you can get 2 of these for the price of one of those, this thing is great. Yeah it's manual only, but it's super easy to use and puts out a beautiful light.

My main liking of this lamp is the flexibility of locating the light. You have control to turn it Left-Right, Up-Down, different heights and angles. You can adjust to many different locations as there are three pivot points involved. Mounting uses a screw-tightened bracket. You locate at the edge of a table or desk that has an overhang to slide the bracket on to. Then tighten the screw. When mounted correctly it maintains a good, solid hold. Lighting control is located on the base-stem of the lamp. The buttons are touch-sensitive. There is the ON-OFF, Brightness High-Low, Color Temperature, and Timer. For Timer, you can select to auto-turn-off at either 30-minutes or 60-minutes. The Timer Switch will light up to show the selected timer setting. Or just not select the Timer and the light will remain ON. Color Temperature selects among various lighting colors. And there are 10-levels of Brightness to choose. There is a lot of flexibility in your choice of light. The unit will remember your last lighting choices when turned ON/OFF. My one wish is that the ON/OFF switch could have been positioned on the lamp-light area (or possibly add a second switch). I say this because for my usage, the ON/OFF switch that is located on the base stem requires a slightly awkward reach. You must keep this area open for access so you can't put books in front. Generally the lamp-light part is usually accessible so I thought that might be a better location. Having a unit with both ON/OFF locations to choose from would be great. This product has a solid constructed feel. I believe the adjustment brackets are metal or aluminum. It runs on electric using the included power cable. It provides very good lighting and plenty of lighting choices. A very nice lamp.
