I was so looking forward to getting this set. I have put hundreds of products together over the years, this assembly should have taken 20 minutes, but turned into a project. One of the chairs had a misaligned hold (high up on the arm/back) which was a joke, there was no way the screw could find that pre-drilled cavity. So, the chair isn't 100% sturdy, which will be a problem down the road. The table - another issue, the top had 4 predrilled cavities, however the 'legs' only allowed for 3 - there was not a predrilled hole for the fourth corner...also the legs didn't screw in straight either, it was almost that the predrilled holes were 'angled', so I replaced the screws/bolts that came with this furniture with real screws so I could 'drill' them in as straight as possible. Also, there is no glass top with the table - however I knew that might be an issue after reading other reviews - isn't that big of a deal. Overall - it took almost 2 hours to put this set together due to the manufacturer issues, which is highly disappointing as there were less expensive sets with higher ratings, but I did like the oversized seat. Unfortunately due to the issues with assembly, these chairs will not hold up or be sturdy like I had hoped. Yes I could have returned the set, but that is just a PITA - so I adjusted and got creative with the assembly. I am so glad I didn't buy 2 sets - as I first thought about for beside the fire pit - I will definitely be looking elsewhere for another set. I hardly ever write reviews, so just a warning - hopefully I got a 'one off' with all the issues - but quality control definitely wasn't being practiced when the set I received was manufactured. ... show more

The chairs were easy to assemble but are t the most comfortable. The back seat is very low with how high the cushion is but they look very good out on my balcony

We did lots of research looking for quality and practical but simple patio furniture after we built our deck. We found the reviews for this set were the best. I always take note about the assembly especially. So I was surprised that my husband had trouble assembling this. The screws kept stripping out on him and they were in hard to reach places. He ended up going to the hardware store to purchase new screws. Once we got passed that, as you can see the furniture is awesome, very sturdy. I love the wide seat, plenty of room and the cushions are thick. We're enjoying sitting outside even in the cold and looking forward to Spring/Summer! ... show more

    • Decent quality, but there's a major problem.

First, the good: Easy to assemble if you're handy, looks nice, comfortable. Now, the bad, and it's kind of a big deal: there's no way to secure the cushions. The cushions don't have ties or any other mechanism to attach them to the chairs, and they are not fitted in a secure way. Mine lasted 4 weeks before one was carried away by a breeze, never to be seen again. Now I'm shopping for new cushions and will likely have to spend almost half of what this set cost. Could you bring the cushions inside every time it's breezy? Of course. Is that more logical than designing a product to deal with one of the major objective hazards of the outdoors? ... show more

I needed some outdoor furniture for our fire pit area, so I bought two sets of these. Ordered tan, received gray, on the first set. With my luck, second set will arrive and be tan. I will then need to return one set to get them to match, but we'll keep our fingers crossed and hope we mistakenly receive gray on the second order, as well. With that said, you have to assemble these. Not really a big deal as all of the screws and washers are the same. Just a little tedious. They are sturdy and comfortable, but do not look bulky or comfortable from a distance. If having something that looks substantial in size is important to you, this may not be the furniture you are looking for. It suits our fire pit needs, however. ... show more

The assembly of these are were absolutely horrible! One of the chairs some of the holes were not aligned correctly. My husband and I struggled to get it assemble. And of course the chair wobbles bc of the poor alignment. The directions are worse than IKEA instructions with no real direction on how to assemble. And the instructions for the table didn’t even match the product I received. I do wish the backs of the chairs were a little taller. But I’m so upset about the struggle to put these together that I’m struggling to move past that. ... show more

These were a pain to assemble.. If you want the legs to be the same height you better have some patience and be creative. I had to take them a part, swicth the legs with the other chair, unscrew them in different places and tighten in others. I basically had to try different things to try to get the legs even. At one point I was so fed up, I boxed everything back up and was going to ship them back, but eventually got everything back out and did what I could to get the legs the same. I would suggest using a hand drill or impact drill to put it together. The Alan wrech didn't cut it. Other than that, these a pretty sturdy and stylish. ... show more
