  • Great entry gaming laptop!
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 2TB SSD
It's a great gaming laptop for the price point it's at, able to run most games perfectly on the right settings. The battery life is awful, but it's not like you'll ever use it unplugged. So far I haven't had one issues with the laptop, the screen is fine, though slightly disappointing it's only 1080p, and it's a speedy gaming rig. ... show more

  • High-Performance Gaming and Productivity Powerhouse
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 2TB SSD
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my awesome experience with the HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop. This little beast has totally changed my gaming and work routine for the better. First off, the screen - oh boy, the 15.6" FHD with 144Hz is just gorgeous. Whether I'm gaming or binge-watching, everything looks super smooth and vivid. Let's talk about speed - the AMD Ryzen 5 and a whopping 32GB DDR5 RAM make everything incredibly snappy. From heavy-duty gaming to juggling between loads of tabs and apps, it hasn't missed a beat. And storage? 2TB is more than I could ask for. All my games, photos, and videos fit in with tons of room to spare. Graphics are key, right? The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 on this laptop doesn't just play games; it brings them to life. I've been playing some of the latest titles and the graphics are just stunning, running super smooth. I'm also loving the sleek silver look of this laptop. It’s not just a gaming machine; it looks totally professional for my work meetings too. The backlit keyboard is a nice touch – super helpful for late-night gaming sessions. Connectivity is super easy with HDMI and the latest Wi-Fi 6 – I'm always connected and in the game. The webcam is pretty decent for my Zoom calls, and the sound is just what you need for an immersive experience. Windows 11 Home ties everything together nicely, making it all easy to use. Battery life is pretty good for a gaming laptop, and it stays cool even when I'm pushing it hard. So, in a nutshell, the HP Victus 15 is my new favorite for gaming, work, and everything in between. It's a great deal for what you get, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone who's looking for a solid gaming laptop that can do it all. ... show more

  • Best Laptop for its Money
Capacity: 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD
The laptop is awesome, it works god with all the games that i play(The Witcher 3, Resident Evil 2, Fortnite). I play these games on ultra settings except for fortnite and so far i didn’t see a significant fps drop. This laptop is extremely good for my work as well, the keyboard is extremely pleasant to touch and it’s not getting hot when you play. I would just say that the monitor could be slightly lighter. In general this is a perfect laptop for its money. ... show more

  • Mine Muist Be Defective
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 2TB SSD
I recently purchased the HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop with high hopes for a seamless computing experience, given its impressive specifications. However, my overall satisfaction has been marred by several persistent issues that have significantly hindered its performance and usability. Battery Life: ★☆☆☆☆ One of the most disappointing aspects of this laptop is its abysmal battery life. With only 2.5 hours of work time, it falls significantly short of the expectations set by other laptops in its class. This limitation severely restricts its portability and usability on-the-go. Fan Noise: ★☆☆☆☆ A constant, annoying whistle from the fan has become a persistent companion during my usage. This distracting noise undermines the immersive experience promised by a gaming laptop and has a noticeable impact on the overall user experience. Performance Woes: ★☆☆☆☆ Despite boasting impressive specs, the laptop's performance has been subpar, evident in benchmark scores that lag far behind comparable models. The Geekbench results (Single-Core Score = 946, Multi-Core Score = 4843) are considerably lower than expected, raising concerns about the laptop's overall capability and potential defects. Trackpad Issues: ★☆☆☆☆ The trackpad periodically stops working, adding an unnecessary layer of frustration to my computing tasks. This recurring problem disrupts workflow and detracts from the laptop's reliability. Keyboard Backlight: ★☆☆☆☆ A surprising limitation is the inability to dim the keyboard backlight. This oversight affects the laptop's adaptability to different lighting conditions and limits user customization options. Gaming vs. Real-world Performance: ★☆☆☆☆ Despite being marketed as a gaming laptop, the HP Victus 15 struggles even in non-intensive tasks such as programming with a text editor. This underperformance raises questions about the laptop's optimization for various usage scenarios. Eye-Straining Display: ★☆☆☆☆ While the screen boasts brightness, it paradoxically causes eye strain even when dimmed. This issue is perplexing and significantly impacts the laptop's suitability for prolonged use, especially for tasks that require extended screen time. In conclusion, my experience with the HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop has been far from satisfactory. Given the notable disparities in performance compared to other laptops with similar specifications, I suspect that my unit may be defective. I am currently exploring avenues to resolve these issues and hope to find a solution promptly. If you are considering purchasing the HP Victus 15, I recommend exercising caution and thoroughly testing the unit to ensure it meets your expectations. ... show more

  • Amazing product!
Capacity: 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD
I bought this computer a few weeks ago and been using heavy games like Horizon 2 and it works amazing. Yes the battery doesn't last long, hopefully they resolve that better on newer generations but besides that it works like a beast. SO happy with the product and for that price!

  • Overall okay
Capacity: 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD
Some things that I like are that the display is nice and that it has a number pad. I've noticed some issues with it - The track pad will "click" if you press on the plastic to the side of it. It will do it all the time and mess me up while trying to do other tasks. - some of the keys have already started to malfunction. None of the important ones but F3 does not work to brighten the screen, instead it darkens it. I have to click on the brightness bar rather than use the adjusting key in order to correct the issue. - The battery life isn't what I was hoping but it lasts for 4-5 hours before I need to plug in again. - The cursor will disappear on the screen so I had to change something in the settings to make sure that it stays black so that I can see it. I don't really use it for gaming, just for school. I've played a few games on it and it seems to run without issues. ... show more

  • Great buy for the money
Capacity: 16GB RAM | 1TB SSD
I really like this laptop. I only play sims but it is working really well for that. I own all the packs and it doesn't crash or lag unless I forget to plug in the charger. Battery life is great when not playing Sims, when I play it does run down pretty quickly but I think that is to be expected.
