Faster way to cut the perfect home made fries! Be sure to center the potatoes on the blade because if not, it will not go through no matter how hard you press down on it. Assembly was simple and it’s sturdy enough for batching. Blades are safely covered as well. See pics for references. Enjoy!

I purchased this to cut sweet potatoes into fries and it does NOT work. I made sure the potatoes were the right size and even tried cutting them in half when they were small already. I kept trying to push the top down, quickly and with a lot of force. The only time I managed to get it to cut was when I basically hammered it again and again with all of my strength. Strength was not the issue, and neither was my technique. I even watched videos to try to figure out what I was doing wrong, and I was doing it right, but it just wasn't working. I am probably extra mad because I was in a hurry to make dinner to get the kids to an activity, and had seen how easy it was supposed to be, so I was counting on it in my time management. But because it didn't work, I had to entirely scrap part of the meal plan and wing it, which was hard since I had meal-planned and was running low on other staples. And not the greatest for my ADHD brain, which was rage-quitting over the cutter not working haha. I don't know if I've ever given something a one-star review, but I would give this zero if I could. It was the most frustrating experience. I'm also not sure if the package was opened before, since the packaging looked a little off. I wonder if it was previously returned, which wouldn't surprise me given how much it absolutely sucked. ... show more
